It is on this page;

https://www.modelmayhem.com/pic.php?pid=17602

The reason?  Look how high she is jumping!  That is wet cement under Natalie, and she is a professional soccer player from Germany.  I asked her to jump, but I had no idea she would give it that much height!  After that, I was scared that she would land wrong and injure herself, so I said "we got it! I'd rather be safe than sorry!   BTW, ... it's a film shot.

Anyone else want to try jumping for me?  I promise it wont be on wet cement!

I'd jump for you but I already got a jumping shot. and it gets love https://www.modelmayhem.com/pic.php?pid=1630854

I think what bothers me about this one is that with the red light on you it has this aura of "red light district" which obviously is not something that matches your personality or who you are. obviously you aren't dressed to be in the red light district but that is the feel that the light gives me.

Awww thank you so much Jessalyn. I'm happy to know you don't see my personality matching someone in the red light district. I would think a red light district image would appeal to the male sensibility. That confuses me. Thanks for your sweet comments smile

I took it for exactly that.  Hope I don't piss you off, Audrey, but that is what I thought you were trying for.  I just don't think your expression is right in this one.  Doesn't work for the picture (if that is what you were looking for) and doesn't do you justice.

You're right. That's the idea, a red light district. Thanks for your comments. You guys are helping me solve the mystery wink

Aww Jessalyn, Thank You!  You jump quite high yourself!  It does look like a dry surface under you.  The background is nicer on yours.  Maybe I should have someone p/s out the trees in my shot?  But what the heck, now I shoot with digital like it's film .. lol

There was a well known photographer who shot everyone in his studio doing a "jumping" picture.  I forgot who ... ?

Maybe if you want to keep the floaty feeling float up higher.  Crop it so you are about 2/3 up in the picture.

YOu have a fun loving personality!  It shows!  But look at your hand placement vs. Natalie.  Then also notice you are straight on to the camera and she is at an angle.  Those two differences actually speak many words as to who you are.

Sorry Vixon, but I've never really liked those sort of pictures where you blend so much onto the background.  Also with all the space .. it would make a good shot to place letter graphics for an ad, but artistically I don't like how your hairline and skirt get lost. Definitely not your best shot!  In my opinion ... anyway.

Eric, there is a whole book on the aspect of jumping pictures, but I'm just to lazy and pressed for time to search it out ... lol

When I have some time, I'll see if I can find it.

It's a shame because otherwise I really do like the clothing and the lighting.  Could you reshoot it?  I think it has a lot of potential.  Actually with Photoshop (wait...wait...GASP) the photographer probably could correct that and straighten it out a tad.

the tie looks really huge
and the spot of red in your hair actually looks like someone is shining a red light on that spot instead of your hair actually being that color.

OK already! : )  Had to go back to page 2 to find it.  First picture, she looks constipated.  Second picture (like most all of yours) I'd love to have in my port.

I'm a big fan of Photoshop but maybe bring back a little bit of the detail.  Original and composition is good.

I think this image would have done fine on any one elses port, but since it is so regular, I don't think people think much of it.

First of all you got too much talent to be fishing for compliments. Then you got to understand many are lazy and intellectually lazy and cant decipher your message. So they give up and move on.  For 90% here it is butt shot or a pretty face.

Again I'd say the framing or the cropping is off, and it doen't show you to the best advantage.

The first one is beautifully done, fantastic lighting, I still don't get the message (possibly speaking French would help), and I still think she looks constipated.
