I didn't say that. What I said was it depends on the personality type of the boyfriend in a lot of cases. If the BF is the jealous "in your face' type he'd probably be a lot less welcome than one who is more likely to just sit in the waiting room and read.

Bad. I would much rather have a friend, cousin, sibling, anyone but a boyfriend. The last time I worked with a model who brought her boyfriend at one point early in the shoot he was watching as we were shooting on some playground equipment and made the comment under his breath...but loud enough for us to hear "this is stupid". So much for support, it clouded the entire shoot, at that moment the mood changed and never recovered. I now refuse shoots that include a boyfriend anywhere in the vicinity.

Some photogs don't like escorts at all.  They think the model should check references and not attend a shoot where she feels uncomfortable.  They take the position that they have a reputation to protect and are therefore less likely to be an ax-murderer with a camera.

Whatever you want is fine.  Just realize that if you feel you must have your boyfriend with you there are some photogs who won't work with you.  Photogs who don't allow escorts understand that there are some models they won't be able to work with either.

Like everything else -- it depends. I've had boyfriends come along who were great cheerleaders and helped bring out the best in a model. I've also had boyfriends who completely destroyed the shoot. And pretty much everything in between.

this is a much more sensitive issue. i think you should take your boyfriend to the photoshoot. i recall going to shopping with my girlfriends. and inmost of the cases, by the end of the day i knew if i should go out with that girl again. i guess that samething can be applied for boyfriend at photoshoot.

so, you can kill two birds with one stone. you either get some really nice photos and a boyfriend who supports you, or you got some really bad photos but realized that the guy really isn't who you want to be with. . . lol.

My first impression about him is his appearance/eyes even though he is in a photograph.  I have met a lot of model's boyfriends and I have be able to know who were supportive and the ones who weren't.  And looking at him doesn't seem right.  Then I could be very wrong.   It is your call, take a girlfriend to the photo session.
