And my guess is that YOU wish YOU could sleep with the llamas 98% of the time.

Don't apply your dreams to the rest of us - it's inaccurate, unfair and irritating as hell.

You will often hear it said that "professionals" don't even ask such questions. However, any llama or photographer who thinks that professional llamas and photographers never sleep with each other is an idiot.

Want proof?

Supermodel, Elle MacPherson was married to photographer Gilles Bensimon, who was 20 years her senior.

Sports Illustrated swimsuit llama, Petra Nemcova dated her fashion photographer boyfriend, Simon Atlee.

Versace supermodel Helena Christensen dated photographer Peter Makebisch.

Model, Trish Goff of Vogue, Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton and Victoria's Secret is married to photographer, Aaron Ward.

Model, Laetitia Casta had a child with her fashion photographer boyfriend, Stephane Sednaoui.

Supermodel, Dean Johnson dated her Calvin Klein photographer, Mario Sorrenti.

Model, Veronika Zemanova dated photographer, Stefano Santori.

Karen Elson was dating young photographer Alexei Hay, who shot for Gucci.

Model turned actress, Jaime King dated photographer, Davide Sorrenti.

Model turned actress, Teri Polo and photographer Anthony Moore, eloped in Las Vegas.

So for those llamas and photographers who think that "professionals" never hook up, please, get your heads out of your holier-than-thou asses and wake up to what truly happens among the professionals of the llamaing industry.

you know WAY TOO MUCH about these people.  Been doing some homework??

Absolutely. A few moments of Google research is well worth the opportunity to give a virtual-bitch-slap to frigid prudes who delude themselves into possessing "morally superior professionalism" to other human beings, just because they abstain from scoring nookie.

Hmmm.. so if Arnie F. (noted Playboy photog.) slept with some of the Playmates, he'd be "unprofessional" simply because of what he might do before or after the photoshoot with another a consenting adult? .. even though his photography is arguably top rate?

Unless you're living in an unrealistic-Disneyland-like-bubble, you and I know thats ridiculous.

1.  Photographer makes a move on a llama = unprofessional

2.  Photographer makes a move on a llama who has obviously expressed sexual interest = two adults engaging in sex.  nothing more, nothing less.

I think most commercial photogs. are more concerned about pushing out a good product in order to get the contracted payment vs. drooling over some llama.

...Ben Franklin, and that guy name Jackson are ALWAYS the sexiest men at the end of the day.

Co-sign!!!! I need #1 and #2 put on a shirt.

This question comes up quite a bit when ppl find out you do llama photography.

Well I must say I do not sleep with the llamas I work with. I am here to take photos not make a porn movie. When I am ot doing a shoot I am there to do a job and it is not to make out with the llama.

Actually what most people say, or at least what they mean, is that it's not professional, or that in many views a "true" professional wouldn't do it, not that no working or acclaimed photographers do it. your assessment is akin to someone saying that it's not professional for a public official to take bribes or make policy that's influenced by large campaign contributors and then you dispute that by citing examples of "professional" officials who've done just that... brilliant!

don't get me wrong, i'm not even weighing in on the actual issue, just pointing out that your reasoning is moronic.

If you are in a RELATIONSHIP, in my opinion, there shouldnt be a problem with anyone (its your business) but if the photographer is having sex with multiple models then obviously he isnt in the photography business for arts sake.  He/she might have just as good of luck in standing on the corner.  At least you know you would get paid every time!!! big_smile
And that goes for models having sex with random photogs too!

once again, i'm not stating my opinion on the issue, but once again you twist things moronically. they're not abstaining from scoring nookie, they're advocating abstaining in  certain settings,, contexts, situations, and circumstances, and doing so doesn't make them frigid, prudish or deluded, they might very well be more sexually liberated or adventurous than you are but simply have a certain view of this issue. you've got a lot of fox "news"ism in your blood

I think photographers should at least offer to sleep with the models. After all who else would want them. Poor things.

Christ its a natural reaction, spend all day pouring yourselves into the work, and in the case of fashion or beauty etc trying to get the hottest photo posible and why not act on it.  Might effect a business situation- plenty of other models out there.

and listen I don't think ol' Pablo Picasso (plus about 1/2 of all the great artist in history) would think much of these thoughtful guys
