Not me. I was just talking about a photographer that I know.

I don't date my models. Maybe your model, but not the models that I work with.

Anyone ever sleep with anyone they worked with in another field?  I would love to hear thoughts on that.

Since office romance seems to very quite commonplace I think it is fine so long as their is no coercion.

Oh!  and I became a photographer because I was sleeping with some models and saw how great they looked so I than started shooting them and it led to this.

My guess is 98% of the photographers wish they could sleep with the models.

hmmmm....my thoughts on this:

never build your outhouse too close to your picnic table...

don't mix business with pleasure...

man with itchy ass should not bite fingernail...

just because you CAN do something, doesn't mean you SHOULD...

it's hard to earn respect when your fly is down...

ok, that's all I can come up with, take them for what they're worth.

When I sleep, I sleep well.  This thread is sort of pointless and junivile.  The models that I work with, work, and so do I.

And 92% wonder why we have these discussions.  It certainly goes a long way to make a model feel comfortable if she thinks that the majority of photographers are trying to get into their pants.

I am glad I am in the 2% that regards this as a professional business.

16 years ago I got involved in a relationship with a married woman at work. She was in a relationship that was all wrong and I was just looking for some fun. When I woke up this morning, she was still there. She's the best thing that ever happened to me!

Sometimes, things do work out for the best!

What's the point of this thread and the curiosity that made you post it?

I mostly agree.
In my case I find if any frisky thoughts happen,it is after the shoot, when I'm editing a photo and I get to appreciate the model's beauty.
WHen I'm shooting I'm too busy thinking about the shoot to be bothered with dirty thoughts.

I think this is more of a Myspace bulletin question. It's a little creepy to bring this kind of stuff up here about "your friend."

Sometimes shooting can get exhausting for the photographer. And although models don't do much, even they can become tired. I see nothing wrong with two tired people getting a little shut eye together.

Kimberly & I went on this trip to Ainsworth hot springs (Canada) and ended up in one hotel room. They only had one room left with a single bed. Kimberly thought, "Leonard can sleep in a roll bed".

I made her sleep in the roll bed and about 2 in the morning there was a terrific crash. One of the corner pins on her roll bed gave out. I repaired it for her and when she got back home, she told this story back at the TV station (she's co-anchor). Had the crew rolling on the floor - I made the model/news anchor sleep in the defective bed!

Went to a hair show with Diego in NY at the Plaza. The models were supposed to double up, but one of them only knew me and didn't want to stay with anyone else, so she asked if she could stay with me. We didn't sleep much - watched french movies most of the night and ordered room service.

The other stories are censored.

You will often hear it said that "professionals" don't even ask such questions. However, any model or photographer who thinks that professional models and photographers never sleep with each other is an idiot.

Want proof?

Supermodel, Elle MacPherson was married to photographer Gilles Bensimon, who was 20 years her senior.

Sports Illustrated swimsuit model, Petra Nemcova dated her fashion photographer boyfriend, Simon Atlee.

Versace supermodel Helena Christensen dated photographer Peter Makebisch.

Model, Trish Goff of Vogue, Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton and Victoria's Secret is married to photographer, Aaron Ward.

Model, Laetitia Casta had a child with her fashion photographer boyfriend, Stephane Sednaoui.

Supermodel, Kate Moss dated her Calvin Klein photographer, Mario Sorrenti.

Model, Veronika Zemanova dated photographer, Stefano Santori.

Karen Elson was dating young photographer Alexei Hay, who shot for Gucci.

Model turned actress, Jaime King dated photographer, Davide Sorrenti.

Model turned actress, Teri Polo and photographer Anthony Moore, eloped in Las Vegas.

So for those models and photographers who think that "professionals" never hook up, please, get your heads out of your holier-than-thou asses and wake up to what truly happens among the professionals of the modeling industry.

And I have firmly decided I will never sleep with a model I would marry, its way to costly!  Instead I will only sleep with the ones I would never even consider marrying and it would save me lots in wedding ceremonies, alimony, divorce attorneys.

truth is we are pros so we behave as such now if we were GWC'S  and girls out for free pictures then hell yeaaaaa those girls wanna be models think that sleeping  a GWC can open a door for them.. therefor they end up on www.bootystudio.com. where they wanna do extras...... its already hard work to get a model comfi now messing that up is plain stupid..... at the end of the day we are all adults but my work as a photographer is based on REPUTATION.

funny stuff but I personally have not slept with any models my business partner when I had my other company did and it made the company go downhill...the focus became more about the model and getting together than the company itself. I  ended up doing all the work and only receiving half of the credit...so I decided to go my separate way. Since I left the company still has nothing new and my ex partner and the model are still together...

In the end its a matter of maturity...if two people click then they click but they just have to realize that there is also a business to run.
