In my home town where we are experiencing a string of serial murders that involve point and shoot photographers and torture there is a gang of bike riding pre teens that are way laying unsuspecting motorists at the McDonalds drive through menu stop. They have a girl run up to the drivers side window and start screaming as one of the other kids takes a cell phone picture of the action. They threaten to take the images to the police immediately after post processing if the victim doesn't cough up enough money for Happy Meals for the gang. So far, the police are so busy with the serial murder torture rape problem that they haven't had time to investigate the gang but every bit of evidence points at a local photographers kid as being the ring leader.

I have plenty of dirty photos, but they are all over 18. So they will be able to label me a pervert, but not a pedofile. And to answer your other question, it doesn't take much to get someone arrested, and the police have no liability either, since when you get arrested from an accusation, it is often the accuser that is the one doing the arresting, not the police.

I recall a story not long ago where a photographer was arrested and his camera siezed because police thought he was taking sexual pictures on a public beach.  When the DA reviewed the photos there was a sequence of a balloon on a picnic table and wide pictures of the crowd.

Let's let the system to its job before we declare him guilty.
