first or second meeting and BAM...it happens...right there in the studio or on location. This is a GWC's dream but what about advanced amatures and pro's? Does it happen to them? Enlighten me please.

Sex is a myth. It's something parents tell their kids to scare them when they want to become lawyers or something...

So many photographers I talk to says it happens to them. Some of them go as far as to say it happens "regularly". I can only say that it has happened once. but that was by default...she was my lady.

Sex happins everyplace that two or more people can fit in and move about a little.

If you can have sex in an airplaine bathroom why not a studio set?

Happens here just like any other business, many people meet potential mates/dates through work, ours is no different other than it is often more sexually charged.  The downside is you often work with someone closely for only a brief time and then on to the next model/shoot so its tougher to develep a flirtation into a date/relationship/sex.  Usually at other jobs you work with someone for weeks/months or longer and things happen,  we would have to speed up the process.

My lawyer advises me that I do not remember. :-)

Seriously, though, I've had two propositions in the past ten years, both of which I politely turned-down.

In my opinion, I try to separate "work" with social/personal lives. Even if I would ever "click" with a model, I still would never ask her out. There was one model I worked with who we would talk hours on end on the phone... did I approach anything past just being "photographer and model"? Nope. I dunno, I guess I'm just what some people have called "too professional". I didn't even know there was such a thing!

Exactly...you don't want to be known as the photographer trying to get dates!
But I have to admit..happened to me 1 time. And yes, she's on my port. Happened about a yr ago.

I'm sure it does happen in this industry. I know that it goes on in my day job. I have been hit on at my day job so I imagine it is a possibility when shooting.

Getting hit on by models?

Let's see....I'm 54, balding, grey haired, wear glasses.  Yep, just what every young 18-25 yr old model is looking for in a quick fling!  [ROFLMAOAPIP--damn, I'm funny!]

I think, unless I start photographing only lonely 45-55 yr old divorcees and widows after leaving my wife, it just ain't gonna happen here.

Hmmm, sounds like a quick way for a photographer to lose his reputation.  Kind of the reverse of high school when the guy bragged about nailing the cheerleader.  Now the model can say she got the hot photograher!   That's if the photographer is hot, of course! lol

This isn't even close but one particular model and I got to be very good friends to the point of going for walks together 3 or 4 times a week or making lunch to have together. It was not romantic in any way though.

I screw everything on set including the camera. Why do people keep asking this? I like bagels and I think they are better toasted than untoasted. I also prefer diet coke to regular coke but I like pepsi better than diet pepsi. See, who cares!

Well, I spoke with another photographer who was offered "sexual favors" for payment of the photoshoot that had just ended.  He was like, "I'm not into that kinda thing, lady."  Which was good for him, cuz she turned out to be an FBI agent involved in an investigation trying to catch photographers in the area for accepting prostitution!!!  So, watch yerself, you perverts!

How many times do I have to say this.... Photographers HAVE to have an escort beside them all the time. Otherwise there is simply no protection against these hot crazed models. Photographers are the victims here.

Of course I do it every shoot 2 or 3 times a day.  I suppose I might just be lucky.  But I have to fight the models who fancy the big old bald guy off with a shitty stick.

This is all true, I swear it.  If you don't beleive me ask my mates the martians.

Yes of course - we all jump in (me, female MUA, male hair stylist, male/femače fashion editor, the model), a true orgy. And after a few hurs of exchanging the juices, we began the best possible photoshoot. The photos are published in every possible high fashion magazine. And then i wake up!
Well i guess it happens (everything is possible), but i'd rather do the photoshoot!

LOL,

Wow, I guess it happens. Though I havent had it happen during a shoot or anything like that. Though I must admit, I have used the photgraphy as a form of foreplay. We already knew we were going to have sex. There is something to be said about the sexual energy during a shoot. i am sure I am not the only one that had the GF in the studio foir a little sexual fun.

But as far a s clients and models and such? NOT YET....:-) Bring it! LOL

A lot of you seem VERY dissapointed that it hasn't happened to you. Are you dissapointed? Are you doing this because you're passionate about the art, or are you simply looking for young girls who want to get into modeling and don't know any better?
Just curious!

They are just poking fun at the whole idea. From what I gather, it rarely happens if ever and yet, guys still mention it from time to time as if it happens to them all the time. I guess its just another myth with a hint of reality to it. Shunned by the masses and enjoyed by only a select few.

Of course we are dissapointed.  Every one is doing it except us.

ps I'll do you a nice portfolio if you introduce me to a gullible nymphomaniac with the morals of an alleycat and the taste of the people who choose the decoration for the rooms in Holiday Inns.  Oh and obviously your friend has to be female and at least an 11 out of 10 for looks.
