The sin of the female nipple
I'll probably regret this post along the way, but here goes anyway! Why is it that the female nipple is judged different than the male nipple? Oh, I know it is at the 'point' of the lovely female breast, but it is perfectly acceptable to show 90% of the breast in most model photos and retain a general rating on model sites. Show the female nipple and your photo is automatically judged as 18+. Somehow this view of judging the female nipple as a "sin" or "adult" strikes me very wrong. I've read and heard the usual rhetoric why it's an issue but seriously, is the female nipple obscene and the male nipple cool? How is one allowed in public and the other not? Why are male models judged different than female models, and female models consider it to be bad too? For male models, it's considered a pose. For female models, it's considered "nude"! Is it a sin ladies? Who wants to jump on this one? --Rocky Dec 26 06 10:33 am Link America's puritanical heritage pops up again. Merged with the usual mix of politics, fear, greed, wvil, and honest concerns for real problems. Annoying as all get out. Dec 26 06 10:41 am Link It's because I have a nipple fetish, and I was made in the image of God. Dec 26 06 10:51 am Link It's because of the messenger..........any nipple image is presented by the boob, the messenger............... dont shoot the messenger..... Dec 26 06 10:54 am Link Dec 26 06 10:59 am Link female nipple does something male nipple does nothing we are keeping women repressed with this shit, so if you like watching the occasional football game with your buddies, getting paid more, etc, etc then stfu Dec 26 06 11:01 am Link lotusphoto wrote: Actually, my nipples do a lot for me, at least when a woman is playing with them. Dec 26 06 11:13 am Link It's not really a direct answer, but I think it illuminates the question a bit: What percentage of women will pay money or stand in line to see a guy's nipple? What percentage of men will pay money or stand in line to see a woman's nipple? Interesting, huh. Dec 26 06 11:14 am Link The US is no different than the vast majority of countries in the world. I don't give a Flying Fu*k if someone other than the model thinks I should not enjoy making art of one of the finest body parts nature has given us to enjoy in so many ways. My rules are my own. Dec 26 06 11:27 am Link Come to Canada where female nipples have been decriminalized (ie. woman can go topless like men, remembering that 80% of the time it is too cold to go topless anyway.) What we need is for somebody to get on a bus with her nipples out and refuse to put 'em away. It worked for Rosa Parks, why can't it work for the nipple? Dec 26 06 11:32 am Link Didn't Larry Flynt take this one step further when he asked a judge if the court considered one person's vagina and the right to display it, to be any less beautiful than another person's face and the right to display that? Say what you want about Larry Flynt, but he's definately a 1st Ammendment Patriot. Dec 26 06 11:34 am Link dgold wrote: *blushin'* Dec 26 06 11:34 am Link Digiography wrote: I rarely go topless.
