This is so true~! I have a muse who will do anything known to musedom for a run through McDonalds or Checkers. She really warms up if I give her Reeses Peanut Butter Cups for desert~! She's 20 years old, hehe. Another muse friend who's a little closer to 30 loves Chili's Southeastern Eggrolls and also Indian cuisine. Feed your muses their favorite foods and they will even lift your spirits with teasey talk late at night when you're feeling a little blue.

I agree that a muse is a collaborator, someone with whom it is as much or more about the shared love of creating something beautiful and/or artistic.
I have  to "fall in like" with a model who then becomes a muse-a goddess in Greek mythology who watches over song and poetry, an inspiration.
Creating art is shared.
