I envy those of you who have muse. I've seen so many really great photos not only here but on various sites dealing with photography and modeling. In so many cases it's all types of techniques, dozens of different looks and large numbers of geat photos all of the same model.

I wish I had just one such person to work with.

I do realize that most of the photographer/model combinations were from larger cities....but you would think there would be at least one here in podunkville. But I guess it's just not in the cards.

I envy those who have a muse.

WHAT!!!!!....you mean Ocala is not part of the high fashion universe.....Damn! I thought there was something odd about this place.

Just seemed kind of odd the horses and cows outnumbered the people!

You're right - a proper (or improper) muse makes all the difference!

I must say though, from what I've seen, Florida seems like it's busting out with potential muses.

Cheap bastard, feed the starving model  Tony Roma's, Red Lobster, Ming's Chinese, something.
After a plate of ribs, muse behaviour is guaranteed.

I think having a muse starts with having a strong friendship...a bond...and a shared love for photography and art. I'm quite thankful to have one.

This is so true~! I have a muse who will do anything known to musedom for a run through McDonalds or Checkers. She really warms up if I give her Reeses Peanut Butter Cups for desert~! She's 20 years old, hehe. Another muse friend who's a little closer to 30 loves Chili's Southeastern Eggrolls and also Indian cuisine. Feed your muses their favorite foods and they will even lift your spirits with teasey talk late at night when you're feeling a little blue. smile smile

I have four muses I share all of the above with and I'm also thankful and blessed. Hey, and I live only 50 miles from the OP. Sorry Frank, don't mean to rub it in. smilesmilesmilesmile

Feed a hungry girl and find a muse. Seems a little simplistic to me.

Aye Aye, Capt !
I agree that a muse is a collaborator, someone with whom it is as much or more about the shared love of creating something beautiful and/or artistic.
I have  to "fall in like" with a model who then becomes a muse-a goddess in Greek mythology who watches over song and poetry, an inspiration.
Creating art is shared.
