Show me the best photograph you've ever done
This applies to everyone, models, photographers, stylists of all kind. Show me the single best photograph you've ever been a part of creating. No, you can't cheat and put up seven pictures because you just can't decide. And no breaking the page, either. If you can't resize it for the thread, put up a link and we'll go look. (Remember, no 18+ posted directly to the thread.) My best photograph ever is of Mighty Mo Rodgers, an incredible blues musician. Show me yours! Oct 24 06 04:07 pm Link https://www.modelmayhem.com/pic.php?pid=1506534 perfect photographer and i surprised myself with the pose, haha. ~soma~ ps: that is a stunning capture! Oct 24 06 04:10 pm Link Soma Stardust wrote: Love it! Of course, I'm biased on account of thinking Jason's the best thing ever to happen to art photography. Oct 24 06 04:12 pm Link I've enjoyed a lot of the pictures I've taken.. And I'm certainly more emotionally connected to some.. But this is the one I think that is most unique to me: Oct 24 06 04:31 pm Link Oh my! How can we ever figure out what our best photo is? Best one today, perhaps. Oct 24 06 04:35 pm Link wow...these are so beautiful- I shudder to post mine. But I will... Oct 24 06 04:36 pm Link Changes from day to day. Today I like this one. Nothing fancy. Nothing arty. I just like it. Oct 24 06 06:24 pm Link Oct 24 06 06:27 pm Link Photo by Eyeworks (The wig was itchy but worth it) Oct 24 06 06:36 pm Link Not really my personal favorite, but one of the more unique ones I have. it was shot at the new City Hall in Downtown San Jose during the Zero One art festival. They were projecting images onto the building where I was standing with mist coming out of the poles in the court - those are people standing in the clouds. Shot with the Peleng 8mm Fisheye, long exposure higher res version: http://static.flickr.com/60/212378551_3385f712a9_b.jpg one of my personal favorites is this one: Even though it was shot on a set with two actors, it was still somewhat of a candid... I was the only one that caught this since the crew was still setting up and the director was talking to the makeup artist... funny that this scene wasn't in the script Oct 24 06 06:52 pm Link That's tough... maybe this one... but I have others not on MM that are very special to me. https://img2.modelmayhem.com/050928/21/ … 49ad68.jpg (18+) Oct 24 06 06:58 pm Link Yoinked from my portfolio I've never heard anything bad about this shot, and it is so personal to me. It's the first time I ever displayed my scar and imperfect chest for the world to see. It's the most meaningful thing I've created, and it was photographed by Marcus Ranum (MM#3721), who has become a very dear friend to me...so it's important to me on many levels. Nude, so I gotta link it https://www.modelmayhem.com/pic.php?pid=1538717 Oct 24 06 06:59 pm Link Kaitlin Lara wrote: you win Oct 24 06 07:04 pm Link Click Hamilton wrote: *Blush* Another reason it's such a great photo...it helps give me the confidence to keep displaying an alternate form of beauty in hopes that some little girl somewhere may see it and realize...you know what? It's ok to be different...in fact...it very well may be better. It's hard to show your demons to the world...having support makes it much easier Oct 24 06 07:13 pm Link Oct 24 06 07:17 pm Link Can't do it - can't pick a "best." Too many factors. However, this over time has been my favorite photo: M Oct 24 06 07:22 pm Link This is difficult. Not that I have dozens of favs, it's just a toss up between a few. Oct 24 06 07:27 pm Link my dad had a full military honors service at arlington national cemetary, i was walking behind the caison, didn't intend to take this picture, but suddenly saw it.. took it.. my mother was pissed that i took this and a few other pictures at the time, she wanted me to be with her and my siblings, but afterwards when i made a page of the service and all the relatives who couldn't make it got to see the service and said thanks to her she was cool, edit: btw, i'm not claiming that i was technicaly good here, in fact i was barely adequit but under a little duress, etc, it's okay and if i had to pick one picture to survive me i'd have to pick this one... Oct 24 06 07:37 pm Link "bests" are so hard. because sometimes its very hard to pick just one. especially when a collection is important to you. to me, all of my work adds up to one whole, which shows who i am, where ive been, and what ive felt. most of my photos have alot of sentimental value. if i were to have to narrow it down to one image that held the most emotional value, and was also very visually pleasing, id pick this one.... http://www.anthonywallace.com/photos/12.jpg Oct 24 06 07:58 pm Link Went out last winter. It was the coldest day of the year by far. -7F and -28F with the windchill. My glasses completely froze over and my nose kept freezing to the LCD screen. But I got some pretty "cool" pics. The shot is over Lake Michigan. I had to watch my step. The whole pier was covered in ice. Oct 24 06 09:34 pm Link Oct 24 06 10:11 pm Link Well, it's hard to choose, but how about this one. https://www.modelmayhem.com/pic.php?pid=331919 (18+) Oct 24 06 10:19 pm Link Here's a shot I took of my dad this evening while he was watching the ball game: Cheers, Francis Oct 24 06 10:24 pm Link This is the original frame: Oct 24 06 10:34 pm Link The is image was taken Tuesday at a troops homecoming ceremony: peace, Francis Oct 24 06 10:41 pm Link not necessarily my best ever but in the eyes of people with the big money (like kodak years ago), this is the shot they think is my best (or at least the most worthy of paying good money for) as it has earned me more money than any other single photograph... btw that's my own hand tickling the ivories... Oct 24 06 10:44 pm Link Rick, Nice shot. Oct 24 06 11:33 pm Link I would show you my best however I forgot to take my lens cap off and it is kind of dark. Oct 24 06 11:36 pm Link What incredible and varied work in this thread. I'm truly humbled. And Kaitlin, you're my hero! Oct 24 06 11:38 pm Link I am cheating. I have two bests, so there. I am very pleased with my lighting on both and the posing on the second image. Oct 24 06 11:42 pm Link Stacy Leigh wrote: ATTEN HUT !!!! ... soldiers at ease. Oct 24 06 11:47 pm Link I never get tired of this picture. I recropped it and put her more to the left, I just don't have it saved on this computer. But this is the older version Oct 24 06 11:49 pm Link I took this picture of Southern California model Jennifer Cousins about 3 weeks ago. I am in awe of the picture myself.
