Unedited photos of Madonna by Steven Klein
http://www.artandcommerce.com/prod/MadonnaOuttakes/ Now THAT's a gem to look at! Check it before they'll remove this, obviously not intended for the mortal eye.... Aug 02 06 01:25 am Link Priceless. I don't let anyone see unedited images of me, and I'm no one. Aug 02 06 01:32 am Link I'd like to note for some of the "YOU NEED TO BE MORE EFFICIENT SHOOTING!!!!" folks on the site that there are 488 OUTTAKES *gaspthehorror* on that page for ONE photo! Aug 02 06 01:34 am Link Not too impressive, are they? Paul Aug 02 06 01:34 am Link I wonder how long those will stay up. When will they realize that they're being seen by the general public? Hah, their server will probably crash because of too much traffic. Aug 02 06 01:35 am Link shall we hijack yet another thread with the efficiency debate? Aug 02 06 01:37 am Link Extremely interesting. Aug 02 06 01:37 am Link This is interesting.... you see all the posts "professional" photogs put on here saying that they don't take 100's of images... that they are so good they get the shot they need in only a few takes... uh-hum ( clears throut) remembering a recent thread. I guess this photog must be one of those 1%-ers. I mean why would he need to take so many shots... You see people even the best photogs have to capture just the "right" one... even if it takes about 500 shots like this shoot did.... you don't hear madonna complaining in the media, saying i can't believe a photog took so many pics.... do you think she thought he was amateur.... Aug 02 06 01:38 am Link Shooting film, huh? Hmmmm. -Glenn Aug 02 06 01:39 am Link Yea...It was shot film at least part of it as far as I can tell...But I see no big deal in shooting of so many frames to get one good shot, I mean as long as you get it who cares how many pictures you took...I looked through most of the pictures and actually found that I liked some of them the disco ball caused some great selective lighting. Aug 02 06 01:47 am Link I am glad you guys dig. Should I post in "General Mayhem"? This MUST be shared. Aug 02 06 01:51 am Link Damn, she just wiggles around on the floor and every pose is perfect! -Glenn Aug 02 06 01:55 am Link Glenn Francis wrote: Yep! Do not for a moment assume that because he opted to catch Madonna in motion and in motion lighting environments, that the shooting style employed here is the same style applied to more controlled subjects. Aug 02 06 02:09 am Link Glenn Francis wrote: Are you serious? Aug 02 06 02:16 am Link all i can say is sweet mother of jesus PUT DOWN THE DISCO LIGHT. I liked the efect here and there but then it got overwhelming and my brain imploded. Though i have to admit some of those shots were rather good!! Aug 02 06 02:19 am Link Dunno.. For outtakes.. I thought she looked pretty good.. Not that every shot was a keeper or anything.. Or that I'm even a fan of Madonna.. But I'd be lying if I said she wasn't well put together.. As for the shooting.. Just because he only picked one shot.. There were quite a few more that you could do quite a bit with... So..... Not sure what the controversy is here..? Aug 02 06 02:23 am Link Controversy? 1) Too many shots taken... OMG!!! 2) Theres some wronkled backdrops in there... WTF?!?! MM is going to implode now. -PKD Aug 02 06 02:25 am Link PK Digital Imaging wrote: Got to give Black Ricco credit.. He knows how to stir the shit with a minimum of words.... I didn't get it at first either.... (And after this he will probably hunt me down and kill me for spoiling the fun..) Aug 02 06 02:27 am Link she looks good for her age! There comes a point where you just gotta start dressing your age. You don't necessarily have to act it, but c'mon! I don't know about the rest of the guys out there, but 50+ year old legs just doesn't do anything for me...and I'm a leg man ![]() Aug 02 06 02:36 am Link _Cinnamon_ wrote: Face? Aug 02 06 02:37 am Link I have the robotic disco lights to do something like that and have been planning on doing so. If there are any models here who like to do a shoot like you just saw, speak up. ![]() -Glenn Aug 02 06 02:40 am Link WG Rowland wrote: You're right about that. Aug 02 06 12:40 pm Link Shoot, missed them. I would kill to see a couple. Anyone saved any? Aug 02 06 12:43 pm Link Yep...they are GONE...if anyone has them...please share.. ![]() Aug 02 06 12:47 pm Link Please tell me somebody has a few... As a photographer constantly comparing my unedited images to pro edited images... it would nice to see some inclination that these photos just don't pop perfectly out of the camera all ready to go... Aug 02 06 12:52 pm Link whos gonna share, cmon some one please!!!!! hopefully someone saved one or two? Aug 02 06 12:55 pm Link |
