Looks like someone's had a facelift. I'd still do TFP with her, tho.

Oh well, not bad.  She's aging. Nothing spectacular here.

I know of a couple of older models who, if photographers posted their unedited images, would call hitmen to kill them. They cannot have anything in their ports that is not HEAVILY retouched, or they would get no work. I chuckle when I see  other models praising them for how amazing they look, even when the retouching is very apparent.

They are still there.  You just have to click on them.  I saved a bunch this morning when I saw the post.  Klein is amazing.
"She's aging."  Duh.  So are you.

All I can say is that someone is a genius for coming up with the idea of shooting her a la Ann-Margret during "Smash the Mirror" in The Who's TOMMY...now where are all of those baked beans!?

Maybe I can still see them because I already viewed the page?  Computer illiterate, so I can't explain.  But  I still see them.

Yea, maybe still in your cache. Post a direct link to one of the pages and I'll see if I can get there.

I've shot with a few music celebs before. If you DON'T take a gazillion shots, even in a PR shoot, they're offended. (If you take ANY, some of them are annoyed.)

Can you imagine what would have happened if he had taken 2 or 3 rolls of Madonna and she didn't like any?

Because the A+D company has put a redirect up to Google for people trying to access the page to view these images.  About 1am PDT they had a redirect up to their main page, but I'm sure even that was causing serious bandwidth issues for their site, so they bounce all incoming traffic to that page to Google to throw people off.

Me, I would have put up a pic of Goatse for all the world to enjoy.  I'm just evil like that.

Anyone that view them will still have the images in there internet temp folder and can copy them to a folder say on their desktop and open them. You will have the thumbnails and any pic fullsize that you viewed fullsize.

Email me if you are confused about how to do it. Just do not clear your internet cache.

Thanks aenux.

This is the first time I was able to take a back stage peek like this. It's about what I expected which is good ideas, good clean photography, good posing by Madonna, and great styling. A couple hundred hours of retouching and we'll have several great shots of Madonna by Steven Klein. Piece-O-cake.

I think these are edited proofs with what looks like some coverage for post production. My guess is that we are seeing maybe 30%-50% of the shots taken during the shoot.

I don't think aging alone explains the idiosyncracies of her appearance.

I find the shots very encouraging. Getting to peek into a high rent shoot like this can be intimidating. I'm always afraid that the shots will all be brilliant and look like someting by Avedon. What I see is solid work, but nothing magic and nothing that gives me that "Oh god, give up now" feeling.

I would have liked to show this to all the models i know who quit in the middle of things because they're "tired".  This shoot obviously went from dawn to dusk, with everyone involved working their @sses off the whole time -- especially Madonna.  They'll probably edit the raw frames down and 'shop them up into 8 - 12 pages that people will rave about in W or Vogue.

Now I feel inadequate for only shooting 200-250 images in an all morning shoot. :-)

Same here! She's so lithe still!

Although I think she looks tired. She's probably a very stressed lady.

modannas hot. shes older. big whoop. are you over 50?  if so lets criticize every wrinkle on your face and every sag on your body (ps madonna is BUFF, not saggy). if not? come back when you are, then you can judge... also, arent we glad she hasnt had oodles of plastic surgeries like so many in the industry? everyones a critic.

That's exactly the reason why I posted them in the first place.

Ok,

I could'nt resist..

I hate when people retouch my images...so let the karma begin.

I just wanted to mess around with a maddona picture..
Just to see how far I could bring it..granted..it was a 72 DPI image. I could have done more, but I think I heard KARMA knocking at my door!

Just having a little fun, as I dare not suggest I am on par with the team that handles this pop icons image and images.

A retouch with respect..
I removed the post and just leaving the link. So as not to get MM in a JAM. Dont wanna piss off the Powers that be!

Doubtful..

I am not selling the image or using it for any commercial gain. Nor am I posting it under my name. I am sure the copywrite police have better things to do. But, if the image is out of place..I am sure the mods will see to it in quick order.

Madona trains hard..and for her age and condition she looks amazing.
Yes the leaner body tends to have a harder look, but it's better than being loose and sloppy. There is a trade off as we age. For women this is VERY true. Genetics is key, but this woman has certainly taken great care of herself.

Just speaking from experience. Check out Pixel Fisher's post near the beginning of this PS thread:

Even though it's all just fun, they're very careful about only photoshopping images with the photographer's permission.
