Im sorry but Porn is just wrong on all acounts

1.Exploitation of women
2.Gate way for addiction and lust
3. Hurts marriages and relationships
4. Encourages rape and molestation
5.Fantasies gone wrong.

Now beautiful pictures of lovely female nudes... That is art and is fine. Porn cheapens this.

As a teen boy I used to have some dirty magazines and Im lucky I didnt get hooked on them. Its pure and utter filth!

Cheese makes ya ugly. Little to no nutritional value.

Porn on the other hand is good for people. Keeps them busy and active.

I'm not playing at all. I'm sure someone will come along and have a field day with this topic. I really want no part of it. I just couldn't overlook his response.

This is the equivalant of putting a two year old in a rabid dog pen.

I am a real man, and I dont need porn. I can appreciate a woman's beauty and body without being a dirty pervert about it.

You said just a moment ago you looked at porn when you were younger. Do you feel like you were a pervert on the verge of raping women?

Did you take a few too many feminist theory courses in college?

1.  Okay, some porn does exploit, I'll give you that.  But these women are adults.
2.  Genetics and hormones are the gateways to addiction and lust.
3.  How many marriages and relationships have you had that were ruined by porn?
4.  You can't be serious.  Sexual crimes are motivated by mental illness - not porn.
5.  How can a fantasy go wrong?

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

I for one, don’t mind cheese or porn and feel there is a place for both of them in the world.

When done properly, I like seeing any style of photographer. But what I don’t care for is poor acting or models/photographers that can’t or won’t try to open up and try working outside of the box they’ve built for themselves.

Hey, you should come back and post when your wife isn't watching over your shoulders... :S

I should point out that there are a LOT of women who enjoy porn as well.... (they're called "keepers" wink )

I've done some "cheesy" shots on purpose.  I guess it depends on what you're looking for and the outcome.  Sometimes a little 'cheese' can be a good thing.  Sometimes not.  As for pornography, eh, that's a debate that has been beaten into the ground a zillion times already on this site.

Huzzah! And it drives me crazy that the "porn = degradation of women" concept seems to be part and parcel of so much feminist theory. Gee, I thought the whole point of feminism was that women should have the same right to make their own choices as men do - even if that means getting day-glo fake tans and starring in bukkake videos. Not something I would ever want to do, but hey, if it makes those women happy...

Relationships can be ruined by an addiction to porn - I've been in a couple with guys who were hooked to the point that they preferred masturbating alone to their porn to actually having sex - but a genuine addiction to anything can be damaging, and the problem there is more the underlying discomfort with women and/or the expression of sexual feelings and impulses than the porn itself. If they didn't have porn, they'd find something else to fixate on.

No, no, no. Feminism is the idea that all women can be free to do what the feminists want to do. smile

As for cheese, I don't much care for cheesy photography, but there are exceptions.

As for porn, I don't much care for porn, but I've run across a few exceptios.

I don't "get" either one, but neither one offends me. One just feels tacky (cheesy); the other just feels tacky (sleazy) to me. If someone wants it, go for it. I don't "get" Ansel Adams' landscapes or Anne Geddes' baby pictures, either.

None of it offends me- Ive seen some really well done porn and some crap fashion shots- and the reverse.

What is offensive are all the liars that post on these boards that think they have to turn off their humanity or their instincts and act like monks just b/c they shoot a camera.

I don't moralize about porn. What other people wish to do in front of a camera when they're high is their business. They have to pay for their botched implants somehow. As for cheese, I couldn't go without it. You can have Veganism, I'm keeping my shredded edam and black pepper on smoked oysters, my mac and cheese with green peas in it. Cheddar omelettes, MMmmmm.

Who SPENDS money on porn?
Who MAKES money?
With the explosion of self-promoting porn stars/producers, it seems that now, porn is more about women exploiting men. Show a little of this, that, and sqeeze more money out of the sucker.

Interesting point.

When a man puts a hundred dollars in a stripper's g-string, who's getting exploited? I'm friends with people in adult entertainment, and I have yet to hear anyone say they're being exploited. All the people I know, either think nudity and sexuality is not a big deal, or they're total exhibitionists who love the attention - and the pay isn't awful, either, so I've heard.
