let's play!!pick your least favorite picture!!!
hi, there is already a game about the best picture of the person before.... I would like to start another game interresting as well... >>>the next person tell me which picture he like least and why.then, the next one do the same for the second, the third... Apr 13 06 08:39 pm Link great idea for a thread. This is the opposite of favourite pic (spelling) https://www.modelmayhem.com/posts.php?thread_id=30799 For all those who want critique and the is a long thread on those that do want honest critiques. go for it here. Just comment on the worst pic shown at the time of the previous presenter. I am tired and will go for it tomorrow. Ignore me. Start with the original poster. I will join later. Apr 13 06 08:47 pm Link This is generally a bad idea since the people who are asking for comments on images in their ports are not asking to be openly critiqued in a thread. The big difference is that they have the option to delete derogatory comments where they can't do it on a thread. Personally, I think that this approach is in bad taste and will probably result in this thread being locked. If you want to let someone know which image is their worst then do it with a private message or post it in their comments. Sorry to spoil the fun. Apr 13 06 09:01 pm Link Jay Dezelic, I disagree. I think it is a great idea. Many people do not want or need fluffy comments. If you enter this thread then you except what you get. If you are not up for it. do not enter. But I think this is a great idea for a thread. I even hope that you will edit your post but that is speaking as a stylist not otherwise. But a good idea for a thread it is. Apr 13 06 09:04 pm Link thanks. I do this because i think it can be helpfull for everybody. It s better to know what is not good and try to improve you that every body just say "how, this pic is wonderfull, good job".yeah that s great but if you don t know what is wrong how do you want to improve your modelling?? If people do not want to it in public, tus just not reply and nobody will tell you "in public" For tose who thing it could be helpfull, just start to play.... Who want to be the first one to critic me??? let s do this.... el chulo Apr 13 06 09:21 pm Link Jay Dezelic wrote: Yanni, do not become a Kenny G on me now. Apr 13 06 10:02 pm Link It's not that I am against negative critiques. I get them all the time and it is very helpful to know what i am doing wrong. Maybe I do not understand what it is you want to do. A previous thread was started a while ago with the idea of critiquing those who requested comments via the announcements on the main page. MM has a reasonably good system for giving feedback to members via picture comments, tags, private messaging, and a critique forum when they request it. One of the problems that another MM member pointed out to me when I posted a positive critique on a thread like this is that the person being critiqued may not ever see the critique if they don't venture into reading this thread. If you are asking for people to participate in this thread, then isn't it like hijacking the critique forum? There are so many requested critiques that go unanswered there, why don't you just help those people by posting to there threads so that they can easily find the comments that pertain to them instead of having to search for them in a long consolidated thread? Apr 13 06 10:15 pm Link Shut up and play the game. Apr 13 06 10:19 pm Link Jack D Trute wrote: LOL. Havn't you heard Jack D., there's no ozone left. You can start with me. Be mean, be ugly I only like one or two of my pictures anyway! Apr 13 06 10:24 pm Link Jay Dezelic https://modelmayhem.com/pic.php?pic_id=43f83170e7746 The lighting seems flat and bland compared to some of the better images in your portfolio. You entered the thread, therefore you are playing. Apr 13 06 10:24 pm Link Jack D Trute wrote: The truth? You can't handle the truth! - ...one of my favorite actors. Apr 13 06 10:26 pm Link There you go. Everyone is great. Everyone sucks hard Define the suckness. Apr 13 06 10:27 pm Link Envy wrote: fair enouh. I can handle it. Bring it on! Apr 13 06 10:28 pm Link Starting with our original poster, el_chulo. https://modelmayhem.com/pic.php?pic_id=4434d194dd804 You don't need 3 underexposed cameraphone pics. Well, you don't need any, but this one is the worst of the bunch. Apr 13 06 10:32 pm Link Brian Diaz https://modelmayhem.com/pic.php?pic_id=431078c82626f Hard choice, but this one struck me as Daphne's right leg is cut off. Your portfolio is very solid though.. Apr 13 06 10:38 pm Link good portfolio.i choose this one because we don t realy see your face, and less expressions that the others ones... https://modelmayhem.com/pic.php?pic_id=43e2b700186a1 Apr 14 06 05:23 am Link hmmm gonna have to say this one. Don't need 3 of almost the same shot. They also aren't up to par with the rest of your port. Which looks good Apr 14 06 05:39 am Link She looks unnatural. The Idea is to cup, not cover. Apr 14 06 09:32 am Link Aww, I have to pick on Katie? I wuv Katie.. But ok.. Pic I love the least in the port: https://www.modelmayhem.com/pic.php?pic … 74e37cc828 Why? Well I love all the headshots, so this was the "one of these things is not like the others" shot.. But more specifically, I'm not sure if it was a wide angle lens, or just the angle of the shot, but the proportions seem kind of out of whack.. (And no, it's NOT you.. Before you get all self deprecating.. I remember your port when you first started and hadn't become THE Nemi.. You're proportions are just fine..) And there's a bluish color cast.. One thing Star Trek has proven.. All the hawt chix.... Are green. Ok, lemme have it.. Whatcha got..? (Especially useful now, as I'm processing a new shoot, and knowing what I've done that sucketh could help me avoid doing it again..) Apr 14 06 09:50 am Link Apr 14 06 09:52 am Link WG-- this one just seems a little heavy-handed with the softening and photoshop. it's a nice idea, though. EDIT: so Cristina won't get skipped: i think the expression in this one is not as compelling as the other red-background shots. Apr 14 06 09:52 am Link Obviously, most of us won't post our least favorites, except under special circumstances. And as you're only as strong as your worst photo, it's best to edit from the bottom up, not the top down. Apr 14 06 09:59 am Link Brian Diaz wrote: Yer sew smart Apr 14 06 10:01 am Link RP, does your posting here mean you want a critique? I'll edit this out if you don't, but I think the butterfly shot of Natashka is your weakest image at the moment. It's a nice idea, but she doesn't look comfortable to me, and that's mostly what I see in the photo. Noticing the butterflies is secondary: https://www.modelmayhem.com/pic.php?pic … f072de3dc8 I'd say the next time you shoot and have new images to put up, you could make way for them by axing that one. Hope that's helpful. My turn! I need the help - you can give me a few that you think are weak, I'll be shooting a few times next week and will need the space, but I'm too involved with each photo to be able to tell where the least interesting ones are. Apr 14 06 10:05 am Link since no one is doing sita, and i got skipped... https://img4.modelmayhem.com/060403/11/ … 19c4b0.jpg this is just not as strong as your other work, which i love. Apr 14 06 11:51 am Link Tiffany fo you to be new your port is extremely well done....I dont have a problem with how the Photographer captured this pic but your shirt makes you look a lil big when we know you have a petite figure https://www.modelmayhem.com/pic.php?pic … e80b879599 Apr 14 06 11:57 am Link Synthetic Shadows wrote: I hate tha damn pic altogether..I HATE ALL OF THEM akdhapirj woeijwjdfosifj sdjfp sdj jspks **tantrum** lol Apr 14 06 12:00 pm Link man. i must smell bad or something...
