Don't forget the thread after the original two, that was made to scold us for our poor behavior in the previous thread. I celieve it was "I can't believe you people" or something like that, haha Shawn I know... And I yelled at her in her first post but got no response from her. She doesn't realize that behaving that way just doesn't work in the real world. Had she apologized for her and her boyfriend's behavior I'd have some respect for her. But if she wants to be taken seriously... well, you know. I don' think that's going to happen anytime soon. And my vote would be to ban her. There. I said it. -P-

Pat Thielen wrote: I can certainly see where you're coming from with this, and I'd be inclined to agree. I really don't photograph people that way (although I have when a model or client requested it -- yeah, it does happen). However, it depends on the photograph. Once in awhile I see a "closeup" shot that's actually very well done, and in an artistic way. I doubt it's something I could pull off, but it can work. It seems a bit odd to me that photographs are judged so much on what body part is showing. It's really a matter of personal preferance, and also what we expect to see as art as opposed to what we expect to see as porn. Does this make any sense? I have no idea... I'm slowly going mad... -P- You are making sense. You are not going mad. LOL! I also sent you the link.

And the rest of the note wasn't any better. I guess it was her way of sticking up for her boyfriend and her broken O key. Of course, all she had to do was explain to us the key was broken and we would have let it go. Some people have more trouble learning than others it would appear... -P-

*steps up on milk crate thingy* (Summary at end) I don't mean to be the next Addie, but okay: her "o" key is broken; she is capable of writing a civil message but has responded harshly many more times; she's pending for perma-ban... ...let's just stop bad-mouthing her, at least publically. She's gone! The girl's not perfect, but I also feel much of this conflict arose because she got off on the wrong foot with a controversial topic at that. You all have to admit that while her replies have been mean, some replies to her have been snappy as well. It's hard to pinpoint who *exactly* started it (or can someone direct me to the first fiery exchange?) From my experience, words start flying when there's a misunderstanding, and before it gets explained, it just gets worse :-P I understand the need to defend one's own, and it is hard to stop... or go back and apologize. So she over-looked the TFP/CD part of D. Brian Nelson's request... she's new, doesn't know how to do research yet; let's correct someone less experienced in nicer terms next time. She may be naive, so let's just be thankful that those who aren't that way, aren't - be glad you know your way around the industry better - and not descend into petty posts to match hers. Summary: responding to rudeness and naivety with rudeness ain't the most flattering way to go for both parties. Sonntag ~bracing self

And I could have been a bit easier on her guy when I replied and dissed him because of the broken O (which I didn't know was broken). What bothers me I guess is that she takes no responsibility for her remarks and for the nasty emails she sent to apparantly multiple members of MM. So, the bitterness is justified to some degree. Aren't you glad you braced yourself for my caustic response? -P-

Like, y0u have t00 much nudity up. On another note, you seem quite flexible. I like flexible girls! They make for the best posers (subtly trumpeting own horn) What is amazing is in the first awful nude you have up, you are twisting in such a way that it really pops out your glutes. Pretty cool...if I liked or respected nude work, that is.

Nudity is like a car crash....everyone looks. The more people that look... the better the models chances. Nudity is a great boost for actors that want a fresh buzz if done tastefully. Sharon Stone did it. When i see a port of a model that does nudes...I feel that she is one with her body...and comfortable..and willing to express herself..When those aspects are captured by a camera they are beautiful, powerful and wonderful.
