Well, that's you. I hope nothing bad happens to you. Nothing bad has happened to me yet (knock on wood) Because I choose very WISELY about who I work with and where I go. I do research I know who I am working with and I know that they are professional just like me. See the difference between me and you is I am serious about modeling, this is my passion. You on the other hand find this to be a hobby and if it is just a hobby then why the hell are you making a big fuss about a photographer telling you not to bring an escort. See I dont bring escorts where I go because I like to network, meet new people etc. And I cant do that if I am tending to my body guard. If i am going to a late night event then I bring another model someone I can network with, not someone who is clue less about the industry.

Me? I can go to nude shoots alone without the fear of being raped, strangled, or decapitated. That's my superpower. It's fascinating really. I have superpowers too, but for the most part they're secret. Actually, not many models even ask me if they can bring along an escort. And if they do I've never said no. And luckily, so far, there's been no problems with anyone. But I can certainly see where the other people are coming from.

Yeah, it's just unfortunate about the ones I DO have to turn down. But to tell you the truth, I ctually prefer to work with people who care about my comfort and are good enough photographers that "distractions" aren't an issue to them.

wow she started another post on this topic??? Quit crying...to the original poster aka OP The PHOTOGRAPHER has a right to not want escorts around and YOU the MODEL have a right not to want to work with him without an escort. This should really be a simple thing to figure out. To keep harping on it makes you sound very bitter because it did'nt happen like you wanted it to. OH WELL HUN THATS LIFE If you have no problem booking shoots with photographers who don't mind escorts, and your inbox is full of requests like you say it is, then what is the problem??? According to you, you should be booked for weeks by now right???

You are on a different level than the people you are asking for advice, and all further discussion is a waste of our time and yours. Nothing wrong with a hobby. I just have other career aspirations.

You have to be hit by a strange green meteor from space, be too close to gamma rays (that's always a good one), or simply be born with them. Oh... and being bitten by some radioactive arachnid can usually bring them on too. Good luck! BUt how do you know you don't have super powers? Hmmm... (in a Sean Connery voice)?

Well, I hope it doesn't happen to you. Be safe. Research, references, common fucking sense. I use all of these when I book a shoot. I am more likely to be raped walking down the street than with anyone I work with modeling. Period. I've been held up point blank with a sawed off shotgun when someone tried to mug me. He's now serving 8-10 years in prison after I dropkicked his ass and took my wallet back.

sometimes I wonder why models feel that an escort (if anything bad or dangerous should happen...heaven forbid) would really prevent it from happening also. I mean honestly if a photographer turned out to be a nut job and had 3 guys hiding in his closet or had a gun and turned it on the 2 of you then you and your escort are still in for it. References and doing research, common sense and even a pre-meet would eliminate alot of worriness and so forth and make for an easier shoot to happen. ON both ends. For model and photographer !!!
