Why do I as a photographer have to post half-nude images to get a lot of hits on my page?  Why don't my artistic shots get comments but a shot with a glimpse of a but-cheek gets 50 hits by the time I leave work for the day?

I've wondered that myself also.  Seems like MM is getting more trolling just from people looking for free softcore porn than real networking.  What do you think?

Is it me or do photographers have to work a little harder to get traffic to their page than models do?

Inquiring minds want to know.

This topic would be a non-issue if it was a european site. Nudity is still taboo in the "young" united states......wish we would grow up !

Personally, I only shoot nudes/semi-nudes, but artistic, not glossy "playboy" stuff...theres enough of that stuff already. If a model says she won't do nudes, or implied nudes, I'm not interested in her AT ALL....unless of course its Jada or Halle ;-))

Great point, I know for myself I have a heavy European influence. But maybe it is because I am proudly a European! I find America way to conservative. But look at the people who founded this country. The Pilgrams, they in reality were not much different then the muslims we see today. Did anyone read last months Playboy. They actually had a great article on pilgrams. But we can see the influence all over America. Look at the long hours Americans pull at work a year. They get like 2 weeks of vactions. Where most Europeans get a month of vaction. Americans are over worked, and overally prud. Not saying anything bad about this country. I love it. It just seems like some vaules should change. I personal enjoy the French look on life. But I am rather French myself!

My opinions seem to be very popular around here. But I find the human body art. The female figure stands for everything lovely and pure in this world. Even if it makes your thoughts unpure. But isn't sexuality the most natural and beautiful thing?!?!
I do find it funny if I were on a French beach nude tanning, no one would think anything. Everyone would go about their business. Heck half the beach would be nude. But here in the states if I wore a tinny bikini, people would give dirty looks.
But most Europeans are fit and feel good about their bodies. And I find that very attractive and natural.
Most Americans are over weight and hate their bodies. Very unhealtly thinking.
Because a few hate their bodies, why should the rest of us. I say happy nake people!

do you really think the shots here are soft-core porn?

maybe the shooters aspire to soft-core porn but I don't think most have achieved it.

In my case, soft-core, no...porn, yes.
