I have enjoyed reading all the threads about the escort question.   But I have yet to read a post where a model tells a story about being attacked, robbed, raped whatever.  I  have read about them being afraid or of a photographer acting "creepy" or touching them inappropriately.  I would like to hear some real stories of models who went to a shoot and had something terrible happen.

In the past, I've seen "warning" threads posted by models with the intention of warning other models, and then there would be at least one MMer who responds with "I don't believe you"....."Well then, why don't you tell us this photographer's name?" etc.  Well outing isn't allowed on the forums...PMs can be sent to get the details.  A few times I've even seen the photographer of the story post to the thread, claiming that the model is a liar, and the whole thing just gets ugly.

agreed seen it many many times too many...lol... it sucks that we can't warn models about people, however you never know who is lying behind a computer screen.

Ok.  The models don't have to name names.  I just have yet to read anything other than a reference to a photographer being a jerk or a creep.  This is the chance for all you models to state facts.  What has happened to you?  (Disclaimer:  I am an attorney and work with facts.)

According to Tyra, the risk is very real...ooohhh....

And I don't doubt that.

But CHANCES ARE, nothing is going to happen... especially is his port is halfway decent.

That's how I look at it.

I did have a guy pull out his cock in Tampa - GWC was paying me way too much.  He was an attorney by day, lonely married dude w Asian fetish by night.  I proceeded to smack him with it (just kidding).  Lemme know if you want his name smile

I heard a funny story about a model who was shooting nude and had her eyes closed and when she opened them the photographer was holding his penis over her. So she said "Need help with that?" and grabbed his penis with a kung fu death grip and proceeded to drag him up and down the stairwell, out in the street, in front of everyone.

Jessalyn, that poor photographer.  He probably had to have escorts to all his other shoots.  Wait.....I bet he was that perverted attorney mentioned above.

Must've been GI-Joe dressed up as a female model. He was known for his kung fu grip.

And that is sad.  I read a thread on here a while back (posted by a model about a photog.), and some guy on here doubted her story because he "doesn't believe that a photographer with such an awesome port would do something like that."  OMG, are you kidding me?  https://bestsmileys.com/movingeyes/4.gif

Was that the 'he raped me of mind and body' thread? Cause that whole situation was jacked up...

And I think the consensus on that one was that the model was a looney...

bullshit. and only the dumb will believe that shit. like i told a photographer on here. a guy or female can come on here or the net, make a website, steal images, which have and do happen on here frequent. blow the model's damn mind, and suddenly he has her somewhere that she doesn't want to be.

Here we go.  What did the guy supposedly do?  I think that a guy coming on to a model, asking her for sex, or trying to touch her is wrong.  But it sounds like most models say "no" or get pissed and that is the end of the problem.  I know professional women who get this kind of stuff all the time.  They don't hire escorts.  They just say no and move on.

How do you suggest a model check out her contacts before agreeing to shoot?

No, there were other threads besides that one, and people were quick to bite the model's head off.

One of the problems is that models don't report this stuff to the police. Any photographer that touches a model inappropriately (without the model's permission) is committing assault. If the police are notified and charges brought against them, these photographers would hopefully be shut down, fined and/or jailed. I know of one photographer that does this regularly, at least once with a minor...with the girl's mother in the next room!

When I first glanced at your post, I thought you were calling MY post bullshit.  I was like WTF?  LOL.

Speaking of stealing images, a while ago it was brought to my attention that some guy on OMP took one of my pics and posted it on his profile, even though he wasn't the photographer.  I had sent him an e-mail about it, and he was like "Well you should be happy that I'm giving you this exposure."  LMAO.

and since "outing" isn't allowed and the whole "he said she said" game never goes well... there's really no point in this thread. I have been attatcked before when I was modeling. The photog is still around, just hides under a different name... I have a police report. That's my proof. But it's not something I would "out" in a forum. Several models have contacted me since the inncodent, we chat over the phone and I let them know my opinion of the photog. It is then up to them to believe or disbelieve, either way, they asked, I told them, the rest is up to them.

Credentials baby, credentials. Check to see who or whom the photographer worked with. I always have my credentials out there. All that they have to do is ask the models.

BUT, that's not always gaurenteed. If you are dealing with a website that looks just as good as corporate site, you can and people do get scammed. Reality.

But for the most, there are ways to check things out. I do it when I checking out a model. Hell, you just don't know who is who out there. I know of a MM chick who told me via phone of a model on here, one that you'd never know, tried to recruit her as a escort and that she had a pimp.

I check for tags resembling: can't wait to work with you again, thanks for the shoot, you're great and fabulous, etc...

And serial and timely emails.

Never. Never. Never.
Go to a shoot as a model alone
or shoot as a photographer alone.
That's the rule. Don't be dumb.

The guy that wasted that model in L.A. (I guess that was maybe 10 years back) was a faily well known photographer and aquainted with the model too.

well I don't do internEt dating. BUT to each his or her own. You might get the ultimate profile via dating. You meet her, she's finer than wine, good attitude and suddenly she turns in tHe Excorcist. 'WHO THE FUCK WAS THE LADY THAT WAS SMILING AT YOU!'

A lot of models would like to believe that everyone wants to bop them.

I'm so sure that photographers spend all that money on equipment just so they can lure models into their clutches.

There are plenty of divorcees, horny housewives, and MILFs out there who will throw down at a drop of a hat.  Sex is cheap.  So, if that's all one is after, they don't have to buy a camera as it only takes a glass or two of cheap chablis at the Holiday Inn lounge to seal the deal on bopping an educated piece of tail.

I know two models who say they were raped at least once. One of them does X-rated stuff and wound up shooting with the wrong people. The other was being stalked by her attacker and wound up moving to another state to avoid him.

In both cases, the models decided not to press charges because of the circumstances and because juries aren't terribly well-disposed toward people in the X-rated side of the business.

Of course, I can't vouch for either of the stories, but the models haven't lied to me about anything else, so I suspect what they tell me is true.

Here's the killer part: One of the alleged attackers was a photographer who also acted as the model's escort when she went to shoot with other photographers. Turns out she needed protection from her "escort," not the other guys.

Similar to the issues of healthcare and minimum wage, I don't think there are any viable and absolute solutions... smile ... and I have not dared to enter any of the one million escort-related threads...

... but back to the real question: Has a model on MM been personally attacked by a photog while on a shoot??

Actually thats a good point bringing into question the veracity of the story.  How did she manage to grab him and drag him out "in front of everybody" if she herself was nude.  Wouldnt that have looked beyond odd?  Part of this story has been embellished beyond the truth.

To balance things out. There is also alot of anxiety on this website. Makes me just turn off computer. It's more like a Soap Opera on these forums.

As a discerner, I always like to watch and hear both sides to a story. I just never listen to one side because it's so easy for people to be decieved. Very elusive people who will try to pull you in to their Helter Skelter world.

There has been an ongoing news story here in St. Louis about a "photographer" who has been arrested for luring and assaulting models.

A girl keeps sending me an IM asking for a photo shoot TFBJ, finished with a TFF.

Is that like an attack or inappropriate touching of some sort?

The reality of the interent is what it is. Before the photography transition to the internet, the big craze thing was chatrooms and chat hookup. There was a guy from the Detroit area who was kicking it a woman from France. She tried to to meet him over here in the Sates but was rejected. She managed to go over to Canada and sneak her way into the State.
