HERES HOW IT WORKS
On July 21st 2012 at the Coal Harbor Community Center, ACT5 is holding their first annual makeup competition.
With two different applications one Gods, Goddess and Mythical Creatures OR Secret Garden the other, Body Painting! Artists Choice of theme The possibilities are endless! Showcase your skills as a makeup artist by participating in this live competition. Prove that your photos can be the face of a fresh new cosmetics line.
Join ACT5 at their Vancouver Launch Party at BLVD22 Night Club in Vancouver! Take the opportunity to get in on the next big thing to happen to cosmetics!
* Please note this is a live photography, makeup and modeling competition.

ACT5 professional makeup is holding a makeup, modeling and photography competition being held downtown Vancouver Saturday July 21, 2012
To be considered for this competition all qualified talent must apply by submitting 5 high resolution shots of your best makeup artistry, photography work, or modeling talent to the craigslist address listed above. Makeup artists applying, please include at least one extravagant fantasy look
From these submissions, a panel of judges including magazine editor, key makeup artist, and photographers will choose finalists including:
30 talented makeup artists
30 stunning models
10 extraordinary photographers
PRIZES:
MAKEUP ARTIST:
1st Prize: $1000 Cash and $600 value of ACT5 Cosmetics
2nd Prize: $400 Cash and $400value of ACT5 Cosmetics
3rd Prize: $250 Cash and $250 value of ACT5 Cosmetics
PHOTOGRAPHER:
1st Prize: $1000 Cash
2nd Prize: $500 Cash
3rd Prize: $300 Cash
MODEL:
1st prize:$500 Cash and $300value of ACT5 Cosmetics.
2nd prize: $250 Cash and $250 value of ACT5 Cosmetics.
3rd prize: $150 Cash and $200 value of ACT5 Cosmetics.
TEAM- $200 per member for best team
Ways to Enter:
1. Enter as a team- Create your own team consisting of 3 makeup artists, 3 models and 1 photographer and enter together.
2. Enter as an individual :
-You may enter as a makeup artist, model or photographer alone. Be prepared to be teamed up with additional contestants to create a team of 3 makeup artists, one photographer and 3 models. You will be notified of your teams by June 25th, 2012 so you are able to begin contacting the other participants and planning your looks.
RULES
1. Must compete in a team consisting of a qualified photographer, 3 qualified makeup artists, and 3 qualified models.
2. Models photographers and makeup artists will all work together to create a winning image using only ACT5 Cosmetics
3. All participating members on the team must be over the age of 19
4. Guests are not permitted to attend the competition, there will be an after party at BLVD22 night club where friends and family will be able to join the celebration post competition. All participants of the competition are required to attend fashion show at BLVD22 night club after the competition. There will be additional prize draw giveaways at BLVD22 Night Club.
5.The event is being held at Coal Harbour Community Centre. Photographers are allocated approximately 48 square feet of shooting areas and will be first come first serve and NOT be equip with any lighting or backdrops. Photographers are encouraged to bring their own lighting set ups, backdrops and props. Please note
that anything you are providing to use in your images may not be visibly branded.
6. What you must submit to win? -Your 10 best photos of each model you have photographed, 3 of these photos may be edited. Please include all credits when submitting photos.
-3 Photos from the ACT5 After party, capturing the energy and beauty of the models or crowd.
-All of your non dud photos. The more photos you send to us for consideration, the better your chances are of winning as the makeup artist and photographer will look at the edited photos.
However, the magazine editor will sift through all images to see if there is content that can be used.
