October 19, 2011 8:25pm Perhaps a bit too attractive for Tolkiens' 'Foe of the World' but a spectacular piece nonetheless! Great job in depicting the icy chill in his eyes.
December 29, 2010 8:36am Always love coming to your port since you have so many great things. Love this one. Can't list all the reasons I like it, but love the lighting - the connection between the spider and model - amazing detail - etc. It is an amazing and unified creation that just reaches out to me. Excellent - as always!
December 20, 2010 7:25am I think this is a fantastic representation of Morgoth and the world of Tolkien prior to The Hobbit/Lord of the Rings and it really inspires me to dig out my copy of The Silmarillion again! I love the style and feel of this image and great work by the model too!
December 19, 2010 1:17pm HERE'S THE COMMENT I POSTED TO THIS IMAGE IN BOBBY'S PORT: What are you trying to do, gents?! Exhaust my facial muscles by making me smile so much in response to the beautiful images that arise out of your collaborations?! (Just kidding, of course!) Believe it or not, âMorgothâ is new to me; I had to do a bit of online research to get a sense of what this image is about . . . and even after doing the research, I humbly confess that Iâm still a bit confused by whatâs going on here. But never mind. Know that, midst my bewilderment, Iâm VERY HAPPILY confused! (Hey, your success at getting such a rational-minded bloke as myself simply to surrender to the visual pleasure of viewing the image is testament to how good it is!) Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to both of you! Cheers, Peter
