I used to be listed as "Photographic Dreams" but that website and company name were used by someone else elsewhere. Updated the name to Digital Universe Photography (well, Photo here since MM doesn't allow enough characters for the full name) to match my website, LLC name, etc.
[Hint: DigiUPhoto and DigiUFoto should also get you to the site - and they are easier to type and remember.]
Getting things going again after the ER visite and surprise open heart surgery the next day. Why isn't there more time to do everything I want to do?
I've been having fun and working with some great people from here. I like variety - of people - of locations - of styles. I still need to work with different combinations of my toys (lights, reflectors, props, etc.). I have a list of plans, and just wish I had more time to do them all NOW. I'll be adding a gallery of some of my props on my site soon - check them out and let me know if you would like to shoot with some of them.
While you probably all know the usual things, let me just state some things up front. When we take photos, I own the copyright. Withing a few days of the shoot, I'll put small copies of all the good photos in a hidden, private gallery on my website and send you the link and passwork so you can let me know which ones you like best. After I edit them, I'll send you high resolution and web size (MM Size) copies of at least three photos (usually more - I often have a hard time deciding which I like best, so do too many). I'll send at least three that you like - and probably some I like too. We can discuss more after that.
As I noted above, I (the photographer) own the copyright. You will have the rights to use the photos for anything personal - your port / here / giving to friends / anything except selling them and/or altering them. If you need to sell them or want to change them, we can work that out later. To protect both of us, we will need to sign the usual releases.
It is great if you want to bring someone with you to a shoot - as long as they don't cause problems. They can be helpful with your makeup and many things. However, if they start interferring with the shoot, that can be a problem. Some suggestions on what to do or ideas can be cool at times - telling you and me how we HAVE TO DO the shoot is not cool.
I'm doing this for fun, so want it to be fun for everyone I work with. If it stops being enjoyable, it isn't working and it is time to try something different. I'm happy to shoot new people, but may not have time to shoot everyone.
