April 11, 2010 8:56am I like this picture because it is oddly beautiful. Thatâs right, odd. The tone, dramatic lighting, and the pensive look on your face all go against most of the typical shots you see in portfolios featuring big smiles, well-coifed hair, and come-hither looks. This is different. Both model and photographer seem to challenge the viewer with their choices and in my opinion that is what makes this ten times more compelling than most of the traditional work you see here. Kudos to you and the photographer! You have a truly memorable look and a real mystique!
