May 07, 2009 8:06pm OK, I had to come back to this image. It has traces of an old 1800s print, perhaps of a couple who had to sit very very still for the long exposures required with the old cameras and film. There is male and female energy in this image. And there is balance between the two. Both of you are looking into my eyes but each of you has something different to say to me. I'm not sure how much of any of this was in anybody's conscious thoughts at the time of the shoot but this is a beautiful and powerful portrait that moves me a lot.
