Moving onto the next phase of my work with cameras. I've been taking photos at the extremes, i.e. macro, product, and land/cityscapes, for a few years and am now starting with the people who live in the cities, on the land and hold/use the objects I've shot so often. I've also done print and web design for about 15 years, frequently on photo editing intensive advertising pieces. One of my first advertising projects was for Cleveland based Revco Drug Stores, where I had to "dirty up" Mary Lou Retton's smile because her teeth were too bright white to print.

NOTE: BEWARE of the Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 EX DG lens' front focus issues. I rented one because the Canon 24-70mm f/2.8 L lenses were all out. The majority of the shots are slightly out of focus, when shot between 60-70mm with f2.8, which is the whole point of this lens configuration. Very frustrating and I lost two shots, that would have been incredible, but because of the front focus issues are now unusable.

Ich wechsle auf die nächste Phase meiner Arbeit mit Kameras. Für ein paar Jahre habe Ich an den Extremen fotografiert, im Makro Bereich sowie Landschaften und Stadtansichten. Nun beginne ich mit den Menschen, die in den Städten und auf dem Land leben, die Leute die die Gegenstand halten die ich so oft fotografiert hebe. Für ungefähr 15 Jahre arbeite ich im Bereich grafische Gestaltung, öfters an sehr Foto intensive Werbung Exemplare.

Ich bin öfters in Deutschland, hauptsächlich um Stuttgart, Karlsruhe, Heidelberg, München und Erfurt; ab und zu bin ich auch in der Schweiz, meistens in St. Gallen und Kreuzlingen.

HINWEIS: Hütet euch vor dem Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 EX DG Objektiv, es hat Schwierigkeiten mit vor Schärfe. Bisher mietete ich immer die Canon 24-70mm f/2.8 L Linsen, aber vor ein paar Wochen waren alle aus. Die Mehrheit der Bilder sind etwas unscharf, wenn sie zwischen 60-70mm mit f2.8 genommen waren. Sehr frustrierend und ich verlor zwei Schüsse, die sonst unglaublich gewesen wären, sind nun unbrauchbar.
