Dec 17 06 02:24 pm Link Mitsukai wrote: lol true. I think the "curiousity" translates to "is it just me that wants to hump my models?" Especially since this isn't a one-time question/thread. And stating, "after all, I'm a guy" does a huge disservice to those of us that don't need to prey (ok maybe a bit extreme) on our models that trust us to create images...not boners. Dec 17 06 02:27 pm Link I think that photographers should be able to work with anyone regardless of whether or not they think the model is beautiful/attractive in their opinion. I think the shot itself has more to do with what you can both create than just objectify the female form. If both parties are not agreeable to these terms, then just don't shoot. Why force the issue with trades like that? And that thread question. It is just plain creepy. Dec 17 06 02:32 pm Link Zorina wrote: agreed Dec 17 06 02:51 pm Link This is a crazy question because as a rule I do not "Hit on" the models. It's very very very unprofessional! Being a single man, if the model opens the door I have a choice to accept or not. And I've done both! But I wouldn't tell anyone who I have. The idea of sleeping with some one that your not interested in though seems a bit crazy. And none of the models that I have slept with did it because they wanted images. They did it because they wanted me and I knew that. The thought of getting free images for sex never crossed anyones mind. That's just ridiculous. You'd prolly have to be shooting a prostitute for that. LOL! Dec 17 06 03:03 pm Link they say there are fewere escort problems if you do!!!!!!!!!! Dec 17 06 03:05 pm Link I personally think it was a joke. Meant for fun and to get reactions out of people. Dec 17 06 03:07 pm Link Huynh Photography wrote: Oxymoron. Dec 17 06 03:14 pm Link Allure Vision wrote: While I don't believe that it never crosses peoples mind, I do see more often the idea of working models wanting to shoot with a photographer not only for the images but for the doors they believe it may open for them and the opportunities it may provide. That is not at all uncommon in the NY fashion industry. I have had several conversations with bookers about them telling their models the difference between sleeping with just anyone hoping to get ahead and sleeping with the right person selectively, if they are prone to do it, they should call their booker and find out if the person they are thinking of is possibly worth anything to their carrers or not. Dec 17 06 03:32 pm Link I've never nor will I ever have sex with a girl that doesn't really want to. I would never make it part of the arrangement. I think in any case of prostitution, the guy that has to pay for it is the sad loser. I won't pay for sex with cash or photographs. I might buy you a drink though... if you're really cute :-) Dec 17 06 03:41 pm Link Mia Salen wrote: 6 THREADS OF IT>???? Indeed, the subject has never come up. The model shows up to do a job. So do I. We do our respective jobs and go our separate ways.
