Would you trade photos for sex ? If a girl asked you to take pictures of her, and you don't find her attractive. But you want something from her... maybe sexual favors... If she offered Photos for Sex... would you as a photographer accept it ? Don't lie. If you are a male photographers.... please answer it honestly. I think I have situational values on this one. The last time I was propositioned with this concept I shot the images and did not accept the sex. It would not have been a good move for the model in my opinion. I was unusually distracted during the shoot since she continued to make sexual inuendo and unlike 99% of all female shoots I have ever done, I was not only concentrating on the lights, camera setting, backdrops, props, composure, and other technical stuff that keeps me from letting the immediate beauty and various charms from "moving me." In this case I had a constant conversation going in my mind that could have been the monolog for a skit on Saturday Night Live. I just felt it would be better for her if she had at least one man who tried to build her self esteem for her imagery beauty and personality not continue to reinforce what appeared a degrading to her barter. The time before the model asked me if I wanted to "just have sex and get it over with" as she walked into my studio for a three day stay in my studio to do a complete portfolio development, TFCD. She was and is a beautiful person with a great personality but I sensed that she wasn't finding anything sexually attractive but thought it was an understood cost of the arrangement. I said I didn't remember discussing sex as we communicated prior to her visit but I would keep it in mind for later. I am still thinking of it although it was three years ago! The answer is "yes" if everything was right but I do not advertise or propose my education, art and investment in time and talent for other than monetary payment nor do I consider other than TFCD if not paid.
