I have retired and hoping to do more traveling and photography. Some of the states I plan to travel to/through have toll roads. In the past I just paid at the toll booth but most if not, all states have done away with the booths and use license plate readers which doubles the charge and takes about two months to receive bill. They also all have toll pass readers.

My question is are there any toll passes that cover all states? What passes cover the most states? I'm from Missouri which doesn't have toll roads.

Thanks for any help.

Look into getting an E-Pass. I think an E-Pass is good nationwide.

No there isn't. Amazon has something called Uni which, I believe, covers like 20 states. EZ Pass, same thing.

I don't know why you wouldn't just avoid toll roads altogether. Like when I drove to Maryland, instead of I-70, I'd take I-68. It's the same distance but a much prettier drive. Just about the only area you can't avoid toll roads is Chicagoland area. You can, but boy it will send you into the middle of nowhere. When I used to drive to NYC, I avoided I-70 and took I-76. Same exact distance but it doesn't cost you $50 to cross PA.

E-Z Pass, and you can buy it on amazon I think. It covers all the sunpass stuff. If you are in Florida, the Florida Turnpike toll road can give a huge savings in your travel time. And in my experience, NJ it is a necessity as well.

E-Z Pass is also available through AAA, which is where I got mine, at their local office. Easy-Peasy. It works in a lot of states, mostly eastern. I suggest Googling E-Z Pass to find their site and see what states they cover.
