About Me

Please Read My Profile completely before contacting me, thanks.

I like to have fun during a shoot. Sure this is work but a little laughter adds fun.

To commenters: If you are going to comment on one of my photos, say something more than "nice shot," "what a pretty model," or "what a figure."

More important than perfection, for me, is authenticity.

I DO NOT ACCEPT FRIEND REQUESTS FROM RETOUCHERS!!
I am not interested in any type of collaboration.

Be advised: I do Facebook; but I don't Twitter; I do Instagram. I do PM here on MM; I do email, I use the telephone and I text...and I feed models.

I am an avid hobbyist and I pay models when I can afford to. If your rates are negotiable I know we can reach an agreement for compensation.
I only deal with models directly. I do not go through managers or agents or anyone else when setting up a project or discussing compensation. Whenever possible, I like to meet with a model before doing a shoot. This meeting will tell us both what we would like to accomplish together.

I like to keep my shoots simple. I don't like clutter. I use very few props. I'm not really into glamour or fashion photography. I admire the photography of Peter Basch, Peter Gowland, Bunny Yeager, George Mann, Russ Meyer, and other photographers of that bygone era. I strive to emulate the style of the 1950s and 1960s. I like color but I lean more toward black and white. I still shoot black and white film once in a while.

Please, no random, drive-by or unsolicited friend requests. If we have worked together in the past, well, then we are probably friends. I DO NOT ACCEPT FRIEND REQUESTS FROM RETOUCHERS!! If you are someone who wants to shoot with me, private message me about what you would like to shoot. A friend request or a tag just doesn't cut it as a request to work with me.

There are models who expect all images made during a shoot be given to them after shooting is done. It doesn't work that way with me and here's why: I shoot DNG format, Adobe's universal digital negative. These DNGs, or digital negatives are my property, just like the old days when all photographers shot film and retained ownership of the film negatives. Of course the model will receive images from the shoot. The images received will be selected by me or selected by me and the model together. The images get needed editing and the model will get both web and printable images.

I can be contacted here on MM anytime.
