The owners of Model Mayhem posted a corporate video that inadvertently went viral, and the video was discussed on Reddit!

Ahhhh the musings of corporate titans,
So in touch, so sensitive, so tone deaf.....

They would be better off just weeding out low performers who don't come into the office,
and directly talking with the work from homers they really want to keep.

This sort of tactless approach runs the risk of backfiring.
They may run off high performers they want.

The model of creativity and new ideas is a video in which multiple people repeat the same catch phrase.

Then I read the comments!  Scorching.

This is why the internet is amazing. The Reddit comments are fire.

I learned this part of psychology/sociology when I was a kid; propaganda.

It's the corporate way.  There are a large number of firms that just buy up companies (sometimes referred to mergers), absorb the wanted pieces and discard the rest.  Sometimes just for growth (i.e, start with Amazon).  Sometimes for the existing revenue until it dries up with little to no interest in upgrading the businesses they acquire (i.e., IB seems to be a candidate).     Most of firms I once worked for starting almost 60 years ago are now part of larger organizations.  Minus a large percent of the employees in a number of cases.
