Yeah.... that might be, but if memory serves correctly, it was ALSO made with the capacity for procreation.

And what does that require...?

C'mon, everybody join me now ........     SEX!!!!!

Whether or not you are comfortable with your nude body in that capacity is none of my business, couldn't give a fart, and good lord, I'm glad I don't have to live with you.  You're nearly as strident as an ex-smoker.  But don't get into everyone else's faces because they are comfortable whereas you are not.  Hypocrisy and intolerance doesn't look good on anyone.

Melvin, I think you hit the nail on the head earlier on several points, as usual.

breasts were made to feed a baby
mouths were made to eat
hands were made to touch (and not just other humans)
legs and feet were made for walking

The body has SEVERAL functions, and if you only think of it as a sexual object then you have a hell of a lot of problems and need to get help for your sex addiction. Comfortable? Im comfortable with my body and i respect it enough to know that its worth more than sex.

sex addiction? are you qualified to assert such a suggestion? or do you just play one on MM???

believe it or not, the body CAN be and serve for much more than it's originally intended(and assumed) basic appliance...looking through your portfolio, do you think that when viewers see the photo of you wearing white shorts that they're thinking about taking a crap? after all, that IS the function of an ass...

Actually, they're both human bodies.  What you get out of them is solely a reflection of your own dirty thoughts.  Really when it comes down to it, you're just as much a "perv" as the rest of us...The only difference is that we're all working a lot more than you are, probably because we don't have such an immature, self-important attitude...I'm sad for you as a person, because the deeper you go here, the more obvious it is that something severely wrong has happened to you, but as a "model" and a "thinker," you're a total wash-out.

You're much too compassionate.  I, admittedly, have no patience for the hypocritical or stupid.

This chick is in for some rude awakenings in life.  There's little worse than the stentorious mouthings of a hypocrite.  (Yes, I looked at the images on her page... made me realize that she has no grip on context or reality in any way, shape or form, ergo she makes no sense to no one but herself)  If there's any hope for her, when she reaches my age, she'll realize how poorly she is behaving (nevermind her views) and learn to be a little more socially adept.

So, no point bloodying your forehead on that brick wall any further.  Flip it off.

that shot was taking to submit to mens magazines. it IS softcore porn. Its not an artistic nude, it has no artistic merit, and i never said it did.

For the most part though, a lot of people consider it to be "glamour" and when people mention porn they mean things  where there is actual insertion, or just something a little more hardcore than playboy

the only reason youre working "steadily" is because you have no standards. the models you use are saggy and fat and should not be posing nude, its disgusting.

THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT IM GETTING AT. its YOUR thoughts, NOT THE PHOTO ITSELF that is making the photo dirty, and i never said i got turned on by looking at the photos, its just obvious what the intents are. Admit it, you are a PERV. You see pervertedness in EVERYTHING, and that's not normal. Learn to differenciate.

I agree that the first shot is an art nude and the second is ultra-softcore porn.  The expression and pose does make the varying intent of the shots clear. It's not just my dirty mind; it's part of the collective Jungian dirty mind.

I never said I was turned on by them either...You seem to think you know what everybody is thinking...and you have the most trouble with what you think of yourself...If something makes you feel "hideous" and your portfolio is "crap" then it simply means you have a lot of  self-image issues you need to work through.  As for what I am...I'm quite comfortable with that.  Perhaps you should learn to deal with what's really at the core of your anger and aggression towards others.

I think it's really sad that all you know how to do is insult and belittle people with more self-possesion and courage than you have.  The claim that all the people I work with are "saggy and fat" is simply ridiculous.  The simple fact is that I work with all kinds of people of all body types.  That you can't see anyone who dosen't look like you do as beautiful just points out how small-minded and mean-spirited you are.  While others in this thread think I'm being too "compassionate" to you, I really am convinced that something very bad happened to you to cause all this anger and need to lash out at all who don't think as you do.   That said, you should realize that a big part of "self respect" is having respect for others, which is something you sorely lack.  I'm actually looking forward to seeing the results of "a lot of offers" you've gotten...It's going to be very interesting...if you ever get that far.

your assertion that his models are "saggy and fat" is just as absurd as someone saying all fetish/adult/erotic/artistic nudes are porn...

they're only opinions, not the paradigm...

(and quite frankly, BOTH of these opinions stink)

I have worked with several models that Mel has, and none of them were either saggy or fat (I should know about those adjectives as they fit me pretty well, but I'm the one behind the camera...)

I know for a fact that Christy Lenore isn't fat or saggy (she's actually rather petite and cute)

Scarlet (aka AstralMoonKitty) isn't fat or saggy either.

Mel, am I leaving someone out who we've both worked with?  Have you worked with Savannah or Sasha Zentra?  (I seem to think you have for some reason...)

when you have to have your clothes specially made for you, then i think everyone can agree that you are fat.

This whole thread is beginning to remind me of an old saying:

"Never get into an argument with idiots; they'll drag you down and beat you with experience."

I can't be bothered since this is too much akin to shooting fish in a barrel.  Bebewood has issues that are best addressed by professional help.  I ain't getting paid for analysis or babysitting a brat.

bebewood,
The number of mod3els and photographers you have insulted in the few threads I have read shows that you lack professionalism.

If you take your Melvin logic and apply it to yourself, I suppose we could then claim that you only have those bookings you get from here because photographers feel pity for you. Or perhaps they simply love exploiting the mean types.

I think that given the chance to work with you, or a fat and saggy model, I would choose the later.
They are at least nicer and more professional.

Just my opinion.

As far as a nude body being sexually arousing, Well DUH!
If it was not, we as a species would probably have died out by now.

It is called instinct.

As soon as a female reaches puberty, her changes both physically and chemical, induce males to become aroused.
That is how the human race is designed.

If you can not see that, then you are better off in a convent then in a photo studio!

therefore every photo, even those of 10 year olds in sears catalogs  is pornography. thats what youre getting it. if its not then you really need to rethink what  the question was.

If its arrousing for YOU thats YOUR problem, that doesnt make the photo pornography.
