Attempt to be erotic? Damn, I must be losing my touch :-) but there is a difference between art and smut, the line might be more blurry for some, but I feel the erotic work I do to be on the artsy side...I've had shoots offered by photographers who claimed they wanted erotic art, or art nude, but after looking at their portfolio or hearing what they wanted, I decided that it was smut, and not art....those jobs I do not accept.

As a person who has a port. almost entirely consisting of erotic nudes, I take offense to this. Regardless of whether someone is male or female, I do not think that his pictures are 'asking' for people to make him porn offers. They are more artistic. However, I do think that specifying that he does not do porn is a good suggestion.

Also, Layne, people in porn like innocent looking young guys, and guys who are unique looking. I am surprised that you got offers mainly for straight porn...

However, I think most people in modelling do get porn offers. I have gotten hundreds in the 2 years I have been modelling. Often, these are mass  mailings, and I do not take it personally. A few times, they are questions directed at me, and I just write back that I am not interested.

ive been offered tickle and feet porn, both of which are far more disgusting than "mainstream porn" because theyre freking abnormal and creepy

the only penetration porn i have been offered was on myspace with some chick who runs a hardcore porn site and has two kids.

i got asked to do it a few times with my bodypainting, but I don't want to limit my field of work. I love artsy creative stuff, i don't mind pinup and some fetish stuff. but I kinda have my own style with my work. I try to make it more of an art. 

I can see where they were going. I remember seeing a penthouse or something once where the people were painted up like aliens and robots and doing stuff, but I think I prefer to do the cutesy stuff, pinup, high fashion.
