I know there are photographers and models out there that have, I'm just curious who they've worked for big_smile

For example, I'll start. Not as a photographer, but as a model I modeled for affordable bride and was featured on theknot.com (still there actually), modeling wedding gowns and veils.

Next?

I tend to do client work two or three times a month. I keep most of the names private, and just list the ones that are consistant repeat customers in my resume.

ha, like I have the capability to even do that. I'm just a hobbiest, really with neither the connections nor the intentions.

And I gave mine, let anyone try to take that gig. big_smile

Smaller foreign editions of major magazines, catelogs, look books and ads for designers and retailers in eastern Europe, promo shots and ads for one fashion week in eastern Europe, and some lifestyle and travel advertising in those markets.

My last tear of any note in the US (non-fashion) was several years ago as I'd put all my eggs in that basket for the past 3 years.

I've worked for one client 3 days every week for the last 2 months on an on-going project.  I've also worked with several models from here (mostly as TFCD basis) I have 2 other clients I do work for on a weekly basis.  Its mostly location shooting as opposed for studio work.

Yup.  Not counting models and "civilians" who pay me to shoot.  I tend to pick and choose though.  I pretty much hate giving up creative control of what I shoot so I tend to shoot for those who give me the control.  smile  Currently that includes Burning Hearts Productions and XMag  (publishers 2 NW magazines).

Yes... many... and some of them are on my MM profile mentioned, some of the bigger ones are not... simply because it was really hard to get to them and they are existing clients.

playboy turned me down due to my lack of getting the red eye out of models,
so i do work for "divorced housewifes over 65" magazine. It's a great read and they give me a 2 page centerfold every month.

...and I realize my answer (for all intents and purposes) is really 'no.'  One of these days I plan to answer in the affirmative.

Interesting thread.  I know that a lot of the people here don't shoot for a living, but I promise you some of us do.

I am shooting children's toy boxes again next week.  I do it several times a year.  It is great to go from glamour to ten year olds.

Yes, Working with a client is great. Besides every one (photographer, model and makeup artist) getting paid they have creative ideas you may never have thought of. It goes quick because time is money. It is easier because more planning is involved.  Eric

Apparently you haven't seen or shot some of the ladies I have that are in their 60's.  I have at least one in my port of a woman in her 60's (and no, it is not the renfaire one holding the staff).  Take a look at my port and I think that anxiety will go away.  No , I won't tell which one.  There are many older women out there that put younger ones to shame!
