Models posing with guns, I don't get it.  Well, some may not get models with guitars.

Any thoughts...

I won't touch either of those things. Give me a piano or a large-stick-to-beat-things-with, though, and I'm totally there tongue

It's even more pretentiously proposterous when the model is
using an old antique 18th century dueling pistol.
What's that all about ?!?

I think the guns are for photographers who won't allow escorts?

I got a few photos with my guns. Mostly, it is to show off my guns. I have a Henry rifle now, the baby .22. But if you send a photo of yourself to Henry company along with a letter, they post it on their site. I thought it was rather cool and wanted to do that.
I also take photos of me with guns so other gals can see that guns are not just for boys, but they are for girls as well, even ones as tiny as me. Keeping that in mind, I will never take a photo with a gun I couldn't shoot. So you will probably never see a shot of me with a .500 Smith & Wesson revolver.

It's simple. Men like babes. Men like guns. Men like photos of babes with guns. All you need is a football jersey of some sort and you got the trifecta.

I'd like to see a photo of a model with that minigun from Terminator 2 or the mini gun from the first Predator movie, now that's a "sexy" gun! lol

De gustibus, non disputandum.

True then, true now.

The one time I shot a model holding a gun, she specifically asked if she could pose with one of my firearms, as she's got a thing for them. Her modeling nom de guerre is "Miss Ammunition." smile I let her use one of my favorites, a S&W 1955 in .45ACP. It's big and blue and scary as hell. She loved it.

One model I shot with shoots and trains. Another has a gun fetish. Do it your own way.

There's still potential for caution tape in the right hands, too.

I don’t own any guns, but thought about the chance to work with a few friends while they posed with guns was an interesting notion. I guess this was about a year ago. One of my first fetish type shoots.

There's not a lot to it.

A gun is a visual representation of the phallus, power, violence. A woman holding a gun is thought, by some, to be particularly sexy due to the perceived undermining of a woman's supposed inherent lack of power (lack of phallus, Freud 101, etc.) Some find a woman holding a penis to be particularly sexy visually as well.  Same concept.

I find it a bit dull and incredibly overdone. My preference is woman represented powerfully without props, which is a more difficult task, given the aesthetic culture of this time.
