I go into liquefy and do what I have to, then when I come out, these little squares remain.  Anyone have any idea why this is happening? I have the latest version of PS, please let me know what other information is needed.  Thanks in advance.

Additional info:  It seems to only do it when I am working in mode RGB 16bit.  If I change to mode 8bit, or grayscale, it does not do it.
If anyone can't help me figure it out, does anyone know if I could contact PS to see if they could assist me?

Errors like that are the "signature" of GPU problems. Try turning off GPU in Photoshop preferences and see if it still happens.

Just a guess.

I am unfamiliar with what you're referring to.  Could you tell me where the setting you speak of can be found?

This was a bug from Photoshop CC 2015.1 and it is already corrected in the 2015.1.1 update
The current version is CC 2015.1.2 https://blogs.adobe.com/crawlspace/
