I'd say there's a good chance of me getting out to CA...well, once I get married (maybe even in '07 ?) and my future husband gets to come. (and probably the only way we'll get away with it, but then we'll have the money to go)

Wow... Thanks to both you and of course olsonpopper; I really appreciate it. But how do I know you just don't want to hit me on the head with a mammoth truffle and steal my stuff? I'll have to bring e-string along as my escort.

A-Yep! Maybe if I do find my way out there we can all get together for a Guinness, or even some photography (or both wink). It really would be fun to meet a bunch of you West Coast people!

I'm soooo there! I'll bring a bottle of scotch as well... Hopefully it'll survive the trip!

Part mick, part limy, and part whatever the hell they call a Scotsman. I also have a bit of frog and kraut in there too. I'm a mutt. I'm a Celt. And I fought the Romans in a past life. Caesar was a wanker.

You know the more I think about this the more interesting and fun it could be. What if Pat and/or e-string flew out to CA (or some other model or photog) and we set up a tour of photographers and/or models?

You know...I will pick Pat up in SF....put him up in my house. Then on consecutive days visit different breweries around the area where he could shoot models amongst the brass workings of the places.

Then down the coast to Santa Cruz....

Then on further down 101 to San Luis Obispo (wonderful brewery there) make a left on 166 and make our way over to 5 and on to Palmdale/Lancaster. Meet up with folks down that way.

Everyday...a different place....different models...

Do you think anyone would really be up for it?

Could we really set up hostels for traveling Wilburys?

sw

ps...All I have is Balvenie, Glenfiddich, and Johnny Gold on hand at the moment

This does sound like fun... And really, I do want to head that way soon. I have a freind there who keeps telling me I should move there. But, in any case, I'll shoot for a Guinness!

But my advice to you is dump the Glenfiddich. That stuff is swill! I have a bottle of Balvenie 12 yo doublewood, and I wish I could afford a bottle of 15 yo Springbank. I have a friend that collects scotch; 29 yo Springbank is very nice... Trust me.

Yum! Guinness, scotch and truffles! You guys sure know how to bribe me...

  wink
