Models, if you're in college, what's your major?
I am currently studying molecular biology.

I like these threads because some of the guys I am sure think we are dumb because we are models  Molecular biology cool. I did my degree on Geography; and specialised in an area of palaeoclimatology at Masters but still Geography. Now in the final six months of my doctorate; palaeoclimatology - studying ice cores.

I'm studying Motion Picture Productions (Film and TV). I figure if I fail in front of the camera, I can at least be behind it

I'm studying Motion Picture Productions (Film and TV). I figure if I fail in front of the camera, I can at least be behind it I love biology, it's my favorite science! Especially human biology, so interesting. I don't really care for plant biology and how plants fuck, hahaha.

Ugh. How am I a man hater? I like men. I just said I didn't like the attitude of some men that models are dumb. Some women think that too; so it's not gender specific.
Just so happens that most of the photographers here are men. And some of them are continually banging on about models being dumb, or implying ad much.
Take here for example. Photographers can't get models to shoot therefore model must be stupid bimbo who doesn't want to shoot because she must be waiting for Vogue or Playboy.

When the real answer is actually we are too busy with paid modelling work, or a job, or being a mother, or being in Uni, to be bothered to shoot with guys who expect us yo do tf and whose approaches , or when they offer tf and we reject, are sometimes unsavoury.
So it's easier to say models are dumb rather than acknowledge we don't want to shoot for free. we are busy busy.
But lots of photographers do understand that and those that do are the ones we work with.
But as for men in general the ones I work with, either scientific colleagues or photographers, are brilliant. So I am not a man hater and just as many women think we are dumb. They just aren't here to address but you guys are
So I like these threads to show many of us are journeyman models to work our way through uni rather than dream of Vogue or Playboy.

Field work is cool too. Especially being flown by the USAF ()to the arctic and drilling ice cores etc.
I did specialise in marine core biology for a while; so marine biology was an option open to me. Glad I didn't though, they are just below my dept and theres always a filthy stench coming up....something fishy going on down there
