Leo
I propose a new MM feature...CAL-Contact a Leo (um, no, not the astrological sign) but Mr. Lam: https://www.modelmayhem.com/member.php?id=13627 Do they make 'em any more knowledgeable? Or kinder? Let's make it easy on him instead of him having to hunt down and respond to all our techie mistakes out there in the forums (fora? flora? fauna?) leolove.com ;-) Oct 28 06 02:22 pm Link I second that - sometimes you just need an engineer Oct 28 06 03:05 pm Link Side Effects Studio wrote: Should that be our nickname for him--"The Engineer'? In a kinda Mafia, wiseguy, those in the know kind of way? lol. Oct 28 06 03:19 pm Link Renee Jacobs wrote: Jimmy the Ax...Johnny No-Thumbs...Leo the Engineer.... Oct 28 06 03:21 pm Link In spite of his Love for Lavender.. I've always found him a great source of information and very generous in taking the time to answer questions.. Oct 28 06 03:52 pm Link W.G. Rowland wrote: Hmmm...didn't know about the Lavender....Do tell? Let's just keep talking about him behind his back until he finds us....;-) Oct 28 06 06:47 pm Link AND...Mr. Lam just translated a huge article from Mandarin to English for me as well. A man of many talents... -Don Oct 28 06 08:28 pm Link I just call him three. Oct 28 06 08:29 pm Link D. Brian Nelson wrote: For real? Oct 28 06 08:30 pm Link He's the only photographer I know who really knows what gamma is, and the champion of raw shooting. Thanks to him I have a vague idea how to calibrate my monitor. I haven't done it, but at least now I know how. Oct 28 06 08:33 pm Link Richard Dubois wrote: That's funny...shhh don't tell him, but I havent yet either. Ok, let's keep a running total of how many people Mr. Three-Fingers, NoNose, JohnnyAx, Engineer has helped (with apologies to Mr. Side Effects). Maybe the Lam-inator. That must've been done by now? As far as monitor calibration.. Technically the calibrator he recommended broke my computer.. But that wasn't really his fault.. And he was as sorry to hear about it as I was.. Oct 28 06 09:21 pm Link I'm probably the only one here that's seen Leo drink too much. -Don Oct 28 06 09:23 pm Link W.G. Rowland wrote: Still not hearing about the love of lavender. And it sounds like some of us are already well on our way?Don? lolol Oct 28 06 09:32 pm Link Leo has saved me from insanity on numerous occasions. I owe him at least 3 pints of beer. Or half a bottle of Veuve Clicquot. His choice.
