I know I do. Since there was another thread lamenting the lack of female photographers doing female nudes, let's redress that. I'll start it rolling. Here are some fabulous female photographers on MM doing female nudes (I've only been around here a few months, so if I haven't met you yet-come on by!!)
Sita Mae Edwards MM # 12528
KM von Seidl MM # 5423
Beatrice Neumann MM #37486
Sylvie Blum MM # 55159

And those not on MM
Ruth Bernhard (who I'm pretty sure started us all on our road)
Zoe Wiseman
Ellen Von Unwerth
Flor Garduno
Joyce Tenneson
Tina Modotti
Judy Dater
This is my fast, off the top of my head list. Who else is out there??

Because I dashed it off in 2 seconds without stopping to think and only to get it rolling! Absolutely! That's why I started it-it's time to build a list.

E-string-I was hoping you would make an appearance! ;-). Any other models want to add some support with female photographers they've worked with that we don't know about yet?  Let's add to the list!

I know.  I just wanted to make sure Imogen's name got in there.  Her work with the nude has always been one of my inspirations.

*as I stepped through the door, all heads turned in my direction in response to the squeak of the door hinges. I smiled at the model, standing nude in the midst of the photographers, shaking each other's hands in approval of each other. Slower than my entrance, I backed out the door not removing my eyes from the circle of female photographers who seemed to be wondering "what the hell did he come in here for" ?

I am not a professional photographer, but in the near future I would take pictures of nude females wearing my make-up.

There's a collection of Imogen Cunningham's nude work titled "On the Body" with an excellent introductory essay.  I think the photos that impressed me most were the studies of Martha Graham, a great artist in her own right.  If I remember correctly, Imogen was the only photographer Martha ever allowed to photograph her nude.

In the 90's, I saw an amazing exhibit of Imogen Cunningham's nudes that had been printed in platinum by her son. who is (was?) a photographer in his own right and already quite old at that time.  It was an incredible experience.

Never mind. I didn't realize you charged and worked with an agency. I'm paid to shoot nude people, not the other way around! Good luck! :-)

OK. I must admit I have a Y chromosome and probably should not be here, but I like to look at the portfolios of those that post in the forums. For me, this is probably the most enjoyable thread in the last month. Better get to work guys.
