I contemplate deleting my port on here weekly.I never get anything other than people saying they wish I was closer. That would be cool if I was'nt involved with college to make an actual career for myself.I mean I'll only be modeling for another year tops anyways. As for myspace, I've gotten everything off of there.I just got casted into a horror film from myspace this week.Yay to that!

Dang... how are all you people getting into porn?  Was there a seminar on it and I just missed it?

If you get your hands on the notes from that seminar, pass them over to me. For art and profit. ;-) LOL

the internet, in general, has been useful for me only in terms of a more accessible means of dealing with clients from a distance.

other than that... @ MM I have received a little over 1500 requests to shoot free which I rarely do, or tfp which i never do, vs. the 6 seriously interested in shooting and willing to pay my rate. The proportion has been roughly the same or worse at other 'networking'/portfolio sites with the exception of models.com which has a far more real-world following.

that said, I never expected otherwise.

I've only been around here a few months, but I've met some fantastic models and photographers--kind, supportive, professional--and that's certainly been worth the price of admission ;-). I haven't done a paid gig through here yet, although I've received a few inquiries. BUT I was approached because of my work here by Maxim Romania and they're going to have a four page spread on me and my work in the next issue! I couldn't be more thrilled. And three out of the four pictures they've selected to run are of an MM model. She's thrilled as well! So there's more out there (and in here) than just the straight-up paid gigs.

I haven't made money off of MM directly. I've shot with a few people from here but mainly it is a good place to put pics up and keep up with the meet and greet info for Arizona.

That said, I do occasional paid shoots and hopefully will have a tfp coming up within a month from someone I was talking to yesterday. I have a paid shoot this afternoon but that was from someone that found me through my personal website. I get more of those from my business website than from anything.

I don't mind doing a few tfp's here and there. I just haven't taken time to chase people down. I have someone once in a while ask me about doing a shoot and we'll exchange a couple emails and then I never hear from them again.

That never once has happened with people that wanted to pay for it. But I figure if they're serious, they'll set a date like everyone else does.

I've had no luck with Myspace, MM, or OMP for paid gigs.  All of my paid gigs have either come from Craigslist, RL, or other sites/sources.

This goes with my tearsheets as well, but that might change soon.

I've actually gotten more shoots thru onemodelplace and my first paid job came from there too. I do get more offers here on mm but for some reason or another a lot of them just don't happen.
