Here's a tip for marketing on myspace to get your name out there. Start several local groups and you'd be amazed at the amount of business you will receive.

Well, I've gotten more interest from MM then OMP. OMP got me nowhere! I'm just trying to generate more models coming to the studio. I can't afford to pay but I often give lots of shots for free.

i've heard a lot of good and bad things about OMP...more negative than good though.

Myspace is great for networking, but more often than naught the people all have great start-up ideas but I've yet see any become very successful.

I think its good at a more local level, say county or city wide, especially for announcing things like events at clubs, etc.  Nationwide casting calls never seem to work out well due to timing/ long distances.

I have gotten more paid shoots from MySpace than any other model/photographer site, and also a *lot* less flakes from MySpace than from here...

Funny sice this is a "pro" site and many report more flakes here then on a "comunity" site like MySpace......................one would think the opposite would be true.
