Not much choice for avatar... have so few where I'm not showing things Americans censor... but this avatar is up

until it's taken off

Ransom - the one in the water
or the head shot of you
It's fun!

As a noob here,I don't have much yet,but I think my Av shows the best the type of look/shoots that I like to do and gives a good example of what I want  a potential model to do in a shoot of mine.

I'd say Winner's avatar is the best choice of his images as an avatar.  Just out of curiosity, what is she in?  I first thought it was a wine barrel until I enlarged the image.

angel,

and it's a shame, your beautiful. You should be able to show yourself off.

If, we lived in an unsensored world,,,the avatar I chose would be my favorite.

For me, I feel the avatar should represent the member's best work (or perhaps their most recent work).

Steff...as a photographer I would look at this more for professional purposes.  But I have found that what attracts MMers is more like how one would dress to go out to a club.  I wouldn't wear the same thing, but I know what makes me look good.  Besides I like being able to change every now and then...to experiment.  I know what works, but sometimes I like to see what won't work and thats just as important.

Totally agree there with you Ken/PixelFisher ... your avatar should change with your mood or current state of mind.

Anjel, your best pictures aren't avatar safe.  Damn Puritan ethic.

Tossing that aside, I like the one with the flowers and the one with the sheer drape.

John, I'd pick the second-to-last photo from your port.. they're all pretty eccentric, but that one stands out to me the most.

John AshtonKeller i think either https://img4.modelmayhem.com/060827/01/44f13534bbf0a_m.jpg
orhttps://img4.modelmayhem.com/060814/19/44e110a3a16fa_m.jpg would be a better avi img.. the current is kind of boring with the bg and the props feel a little forced... the one with the hair extentions gives me more of a fun spunky feeling that might catch my eyes better. The other i think has more of a commercialy look but its size would make for a easier to see avi*nodnod*just my 2 cents

For Anjel, I like many of your shots, but most aren't "avatar safe", but I believe this one is:
https://img2.modelmayhem.com/050414/09/425e6c24944d8_m.jpg

For Stephanie, I'd chose:

For MegaHertz:

I have to say that... https://img4.modelmayhem.com/060929/23/451debebb7454.jpg has a better expression (in my opinion) then your current one, but out of all your photos those are the only two I really see as avatar-like. big_smile

(Let's keep this thread going, it's pretty nice.)

Saryn -

I must say, your current avatar got me to visit your profile and look through your portfolio just to get a better view. If that was its purpose, excellent job. It worked.

smile

Mine's been the same since I joined. Not because it's the best, but because it tends to get attention.

Zero Dean,

I think your current avatar is a blast - definitely an attention-grabber.
If you wanted to change it up, I'd go with either

https://www.modelmayhem.com/pic.php?pid=1032616

Cool stuff!

Libby,

I think the seated red dress picture or your headshot in the white outfit are strongest.  In the dress shots I think the seated one is the most interesting of the 5 poses and that headshot just has a great expression.

Cynthia,

from a models perspective I would want something like this from you :

https://www.modelmayhem.com/pic.php?pid=1444951
But I think alot of the stuff is very artistic and beautiful in your port and would want that also, just not for my modeling port.
