...other than the obvious "Hanging out on MM Forums?

I'm working on photos from a HS Senior portrait shoot I did Friday evening.

I'm also sending out casting calls for another photo shoot at the bed & breakfast on St. Paul, Ks.

So, tell us how you spend a lazy (or not so lazy) Sunday. smile

getting ready for my trip to salzburg tomorrow.  Should get some great shots hiking around the Salzkammergut area.  I don't think there will be any modeling shoots going on, but back to my nature photography roots. smile

Finishing up my super-late-jumping-on-the-bandwagon senior portraits webpage and then, since plans fell through with a model, perhaps shooting my cat in a cardboard box because it beats shooting nothing.

Have you and E-string thought about getting together and doing a whole series of Fairies? IE: Spring, Summer & Autumn to go with Winter?

If I was near enough to work with her, I certainly would!

E-String is an awesome model and is completely awesome to work with; I can't recommend her enough. But right now I'm rather short on a very necessary thing to do photo sessions that involved: Money. So, until I can get some work and be able to afford the costumes, makeup, etc I'll have to wait. I do have plans for more fantasy / faerie themed sessions, but more elaborate themes will have to wait until I can afford to produce them. The Winter Faerie series was produced on an extremely low budget, but I can't expect people to work that way all the time...

Sux being broke all the time...

You need to save a little bit of money in order to buy the infandibulator you need to achieve your goal.

Besides trying to take over the world I'm going to go to the Walker Museum of Modern Art and see a movie about Diane Arbus with a friend of mine. Time to geek out with photography! Woohoo!

posting to my boring thread (same topic!) but that is okay, I can be boring on two threads. Trying to go and do some approval denials, and then planning on spending the day editing. Listening to Tricky on the radio, maybe will take some more pics of my still life before I take it down. Encouraging people to go to my boring thread and private photography thread.....Next person? What are you guys doing? (I have to remember it isn't all about me)

Dude -- I so already have one of those things. They look much better on the box, though. Highly over-rated, and where can you get batteries like that? I am making great progress on my army of insectoid robots, and the zombies are doing quite well too. Of course, the flock of flying rabid penquins will very soon be unleashed upon an unsuspecting Nova Scotia...

  Damn! Now they know!

It's a quiet Sunday, thank heavens, cause everyone's drunk/hung over out the wazoo after the folk/blues fest. It's also raining. Yay.

It's late afternoon in the UK.

This morning I went for a walk on the beach.  Then I walked up to the town to pay for the newspapers.  Happened to meet the lady who runs the art class at the local school.  She mentioned she had a new model on her list, and wondered if I would be interested.  I gave her a card to pass on.  Popped into the bookmakers to place a bet on Flamand in the 4.10 at Stratford.  It won at 20/1.  The tip was given to me by my neighbour, who happens to be the bookmaker.

Popped into the Cheap Shop to see if they'd got a new stock of canvasses in, but they hadn't.  Sainsbury's had some reduced price chicken breasts, so bought four.  Had a long chat with the mother of one of my regular models.

Was going to sit out in the garden this afternoon, but Lydd Air Show is on, and there are lots of loud low flying aircraft around, which is annoying, so I spent most of the afternoon indoors, catching up on paperwork, watching a DVD, and generally pottering.

It's now five o'clock, and time for tea.

I had brunch with TXPhotographer and Hoot. Figuring out the adjustments on the sale of my house. Laundry. Walk the dog. Making sauteed foie gras in brandy and sherry for dinner (or chicken liver ... whichever is available first). Continuation of a James Bond Overdose weekend. Except for "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" ... got a cracked disc from Netflix, but that's okay... George Lazenby was my least favorite Bond guy.
