I have been in model mayhem for two decades now. It was an amazing place back in the beginning. I was meeting all kinds of artists, body painters, models, photographers and artists.
I am a photographer first, but I started modeling to get fine art prints not of me. *good investment by the way*

I got involved becuase I love photography of all kinds, I love to capture the personality of the model, and i love to work with someone over time.

I am also an artist, and i am not looking to pay people money. What I do laugh at is the people who have one photoshoot that is clearly by an amateur asking for paid work.

I could ask for paid work, and i could get some as I have in the past, but i prefer an actual relationship with my models in the sense that someone who is comfortable and enjoys my company is going to be a much better model for me and i am going to be a much better photographer for them. I am looking for creative models who want to make art.
The money comes later. It comes without you asking for it. and if you get out of the mindset that just having a body means you are worth money is not sexy.

The Dunning Kreuger mindset is disheartening. but I am an idealist. And I am a good photographer, and I have helped two or three models with both our profiles 20 years ago and they both went on to be huge in the art model industry.
that is not my primary goal. I do this for love. I understand that some people do this for a living and a lot more people think they can do it for a living. there are probably less than a hundred models in this site who are actively traveling around the country and working full time in this industry *unless they do porn no judgement*

my model profile is 3290, I was a moderator on this one, and I want to work with good people who want to shoot good stuff. I do not have money or interest in someone who is money driven. Back in the day we used to say paid only but we offered the others in our level tfp. that is what i reached out for. and i didnt use a form letter. same with models.
