Some of us are just here for the fun of the tags and forums and shout box. It beats Myspace... (Except Myspace has some kick-ass musicians, too.) Very few editorial fashion people are mentioned in these lists. If any fashion guys are listed , they're usually the commercial ones . We all have our tastes obviously . When I buy magazines , I usually don't bother with the commercial images in the front and skip all the way to the back to look at the editorials .

I think face photography has been done to death. It's time for a change. Everybody is like: "look, I have a face!". Give me a break. Who doesn't? Everyone has an ass, too. Personally, I think my face is the far more unique and interesting part of my body. What does it say about the prevalence of T&A shots that models even have an attitude of "look, I have a face!"?

No offense, but you are female and clearly NOT my target audeince. I dont shoot pretty photos for girls to get all giddy about, I shoot what sells on the net and thats sexy/erotcia. There are plenty of females who do like my work though obviously. Just because its not your thing doesnt mean its shit. But that's the thing: If you recognise that the average heterosexual female is NOT your target audience, why are you upset that models don't consider you a must-work-with? If you're doing so well and making so much money, what do you care if most of us would rather work with Sean Armenta or whomever than with you? The main thing the photographers listed have in common is NOT that they "use a lot of Photoshop" - many don't, or use far less than you seem to think - but that their work is appealing to a female audience. The photographers here who are unhappy about not being mentioned have two options: a) Accept the fact that you have a different niche, or b) Change. Simple enough.

LOL, sad that my timing was poor then. I met you for coffee, and then moved out of the country before we could get together again to shoot. Now I'm back, but on the other side. Beer at McMenamins pub next time I'm out that way? I'm dying for a terminator stout! Wow, that'd be great, there's John Barleycorn's, a McMennamins establishment right down the street... LOL

You liked my post so much you replied to it two different times? lol If you think the photographers with the REALLY good work arent using a ton of photoshop, you dont know photography. I can guarantee you they hardly look like that off the camera. Everythig from boosting colors, contrast, saturation, shadows and highlights, skin softening techniques etc....I would never change my style to appeal to more females because they dont pay to look at sexy pics online. I am not really complaining, there are only a handful of models I would shoot on this site anways as most are too fashion and beauty for my taste to begin with. I was just making an oberservation.

I like these threads. Lots of great work is featured and lesser known photographers and models can be seen. This way we don't need no stinking showcases. But this thread is not about who is whose target market and who should be taking photos of what. Leave the critiques for the Critique forum. Let this thread to be about positivity.
