Udor , first let me say you are a great photogrpaher
Second , let me go back to the origainl question - and that pertained to going with the photogrpahers own idea ( no Ad or Creative Director around ) Just you
So ?
First: Thank you!
Second: No matter what the premise is, either in a described scenario above or without, I let my creativity dictate the final shot.
I can't plan when I get my inspiration, but once the situation comes along, I start to get ideas, with refinement on the set.
For almost all my shoots, I have a rough concept and ideas just come when I am there.
As an example, the photo below is of the Cuban-American stage actor Yosvani Reyes. I had to do a shoot for his promotional material and updated headshots.
WHILE I was on the way to meet him... I had the idea for this shot which we then executed later in the day:
This is how I function and that's why it's hard to say what crazy stuff I would do with Giselle.
However, what would fascinate me to do is shooting her in a way that captures her true self, a moment that is real.
