While theft sucks, at least it isn't being rewarded so far. A fast new database server has been put online to keep Modelplace as fast as it can possibly be. Its built to be super reliable and in general just help us out with all the growth we are seeing. You guys rock!" Aug 14 06 08:21 am Link They cut and copied the rules, and FORGOT TO EDIT OUT "model mayhem" http://www.modeltag.com/rules.php wow... Aug 14 06 08:23 am Link For a place with one name... in their Info section this is an update: "Woohoo! A fast new database server has been put online to keep Modelplace as fast as it can possibly be. Its built to be super reliable and in general just help us out with all the growth we are seeing. You guys rock!" Am I reading that wrong or doesn't it say Modelplace ?? Aug 14 06 08:23 am Link quality workmanship indeed. that happened at my previous job: every now and then I would google our company name and one time a website came up that had copied all of the content off of our company website but had failed to edit out our actual company name on one of the pages. a lawsuit definitely ensued thanks to me! Aug 14 06 08:25 am Link Wow that really is theft! Somethings' not kosher to say the least lol Aug 14 06 08:25 am Link Rachel Leah wrote: Too funny Aug 14 06 08:25 am Link Anyone going to take the dive and join up to let them know? lol Aug 14 06 08:27 am Link did anyone get screenshots yet? gotta save that. Aug 14 06 08:38 am Link Why would they do that? WHY? Aug 14 06 08:39 am Link TXPhotog wrote: No those are testing pages. There doesn't appear to be any real member models. Interesting /feature/ how the models have a sex change and age going from the thumbnail to the profile. I guess they knew the site would be slow. Aug 14 06 08:39 am Link Can anyone ID this? I wouldn't be surprised if it's stolen, too, and the copyright holder deserves to be notified. http://www.modeltag.com/news.php Aug 14 06 08:40 am Link Christine Summers wrote: It beats actually working on your own site... There was a broadcast "rent a coder" request about two months ago that had as its assignment to clone ModelMayhem. This is a web site to find the lowest bidder on web site design. Apparently the buyer got what they paid for. Linky below: Aug 14 06 08:48 am Link Sue the bastards, get lots of money then fly us all to somewhere nice to party our asses off!
