And two, count 'em, two models are members.

While theft sucks, at least it isn't being rewarded so far.

Actually looks like they copied Modelplace.  On the "info" page they have an update from march that reads, "Woohoo! A fast new database server has been put online to keep Modelplace as fast as it can possibly be. Its built to be super reliable and in general just help us out with all the growth we are seeing. You guys rock!"

For a place with one name... in their Info section this is an update:

"Woohoo! A fast new database server has been put online to keep Modelplace as fast as it can possibly be. Its built to be super reliable and in general just help us out with all the growth we are seeing. You guys rock!"

Am I reading that wrong or doesn't it say Modelplace ??

quality workmanship indeed. that happened at my previous job: every now and then I would google our company name and one time a website came up that had copied all of the content off of our company website but had failed to edit out our actual company name on one of the pages. a lawsuit definitely ensued thanks to me!

Didn't catch that the first time.  Didn't see modelmayhem on the rules page either.  Sloppy!

I guess the bald would go with the age of 1, and she anticipates having auburn hair at some time maybe???

No those are testing pages. There doesn't appear to be any real member models. Interesting /feature/ how the models have a sex change and age going from the thumbnail to the profile. I guess they knew the site would be slow.

Can anyone ID this?  I wouldn't be surprised if it's stolen, too, and the copyright holder deserves to be notified.

I googled a bunch of parts of it and variations on them and only modeltag is coming up, and besides, it's so poorly written that it probably actually was written by whoever made the site.

Is it also by Webpulse (as advertised in the stolen site)?

Kinda expected this. There was a broadcast "rent a coder" request about two months ago that had as its assignment to clone ModelMayhem. This is a web site to find the lowest bidder on web site design. Apparently the buyer got what they paid for. Linky below:

Nope.  I coded it all by hand for the most part.

That "we know your work speaks for itself" looks pretty familiar...

They couldn't even attempt to re-word anything?  This is pathetic.

Webpulse is a web design firm based in India. This is from their homepage.

"WebPulse Inc. is India based firm specializing in professional web site design company offering affordable and personalized website design..."

I can see why it would be affordable since they steal it but they lost me on the personalized.
