Apparently, it's that special knob on a vibrator designed to stimulate the clitoris . . . or so I've heard.

Tog and piccie? Valley Speak?

OOOHHHHHHH......okay. I get it. A tog is that thing you use when you grill out and a piccie is that thing you do when you have stuff in your nose.

I don't understand what those have to do with what a person looks like. Unless.... you want a picture of someone picking their nose with a tog?

I'm old and confused....'scuse me.

I'll hold my hand up to piccies, but I thought tog was an Americanism.

And I'm ugly.

there's a whole big thread of "tog"s "piccies" somewhere if you search for it. it's called something to the effect of "Photographers--Post Pictures of yourselves!"

or something.

If "togs" showed what they looked like before a shoot - then all models would run away screaming!

That's impossible, as I'm sure she doesn't want to be referred to as a "mo." It would be quite bad forum to come to an American based forum and use a derogatory term for photographer. Talk about bad publicity for some one to do that so no it couldn't be a low class term for photographer so it must be something else.

Go to any UK forum and the term Tog is used as the normal way to refer to a photographer. Thus any UK model or photographer that comes here will most likely use the term because its not derogatory in the UK.

If this forum advertises that its for all over the world then we should accept cultural differences and stop being so anally retentive.

How about you fucking Limeys stop being so demanding from American forums.  I wouldn't go over to England and start demanding you do stuff the American way but apparently you have no problem coming here and demanding Americans bend to the desires of some "queens subject". wink

Not really. When I first went to England, someone told me that "we were two nations divided by a common language." The slang is so much different there verses here.

For me, a not native english speaker, American English sounds like a modificated Irish?
Because rolling the "r" is similar to Irish. Am I wrong?

We did at one point then the Americans figured that with independence came the God Given Right right to stuff up their language. We dont call their language English, we call it American because its clear from its colour that its not English smile

"Some people hate the English.  I don't - they're just wankers.  We, on the other hand, are colonized by wankers.  We can't even find a decent civilization to be colonized by.  We're ruled by effete assholes!" - Mark Renton "Trainspotting"

Huh? Where is my dictionary!!!

I have good friends in both countries. Funny is, when you both talk about values, politics or like here, about languages you always start fighting. Why is that? You share almost the same values, you have a "similar" language, you do almost the same politics, you go to wars together etc...

be nice and share love  smile

Like Children.

Lets take an example. The Sistine Chapel (Rome, where the pope lives) was built in 1483 and it still there now. It was decorated in 1508 my Michelangelo and depicts nude forms.

If it had been built in the whitehouse, Bush would have paited over that tasless naked crap.

Down the road from me is Ely Cathedral was built in 1109.

Thus we have history and culture, you do not. You are children.

Do you know the difference between Americans and a pot of Yogurt?

Well if you leave a pot of yogurt in the wilderness for 200 years you get culture!
