um...not exactly sure where you're going with this... I'm confused... But I'd have to say that in a Model vs Model match up I'd like to see Fabio vs Naomi Campbell, I think she'd kick his ass...

Lapis wrote: posterbate: verb. to write posts online for the primary purpose of hearing yourself type. If you look, most of the people with high post counts are posterbators. They have a need to relieve themselves, and if anyone else wants to play around, that is fine, but the primary need to is 'get out' your thoughts on a variety of subjects or threads. This usually happens in spurts....all of a sudden, your posting goes from interactive, to just posting everywhere. Happens sporadically. There are a few minor posterbators out there, and a few obsessive ones. A posterbation addict is easy to spot based on the reddened tips of their fingers from so much typing.

I think its just a stage of being an MM member...sadly some of us don't grow out of it...

While posterbators often have the highest ppd or PQ, Brian Diaz would have to have several of his posts removed as they are actual information disseminated to other members. the definiton of posterbating is that your primary purpose of posting is to amuse yourself. Often it helps if you get a few other people involved so it is a mutual posterbation kind of thing, but if the primary purpose is to actually inform someone of something, then it is not technically posterbating. The biggest posterbators lounge in off-topic most of the time. Here is my posterbation attempt with a little Mai dtem baht thrown in. 2 days left. https://www.modelmayhem.com/posts.php?thread_id=55301

Guilty as charged ( perhaps ) I am looking at my fingers now their bleeding ( just kidding ) I have been a Mmer for about 6 weeks now , ( previously never having a participated in any one line discussion of anything ) and since joining MM I have ( by my own admission )gone a bit crazy with the posts I am thinking this is a just a phase Im going thru but who knows ( also the weather here ahs been poor - so my outdoor shooting has taken a hit ) What I enjoy about these forums is the ablility to discuss fashion ( and non fashion ) topics with poeple ( pros and not ) form around the world ( though I may be interested more in what a Photographer in Paris has to say than what a fetish ie Duct tape photog in the Deep South has to say ) ...I have tried/launched a number of topics in an effort to start some interesting discussion - some have succeeded some not , Ive also learned a few things.. ie Porn ( or AManda Lapore ) is a more popular subject than high fashion , a lot of people think they "know " celibrities such as Paris Hilton and can make judgements , and a fair number of American respondents think if a discussion re racial issues is bought up - I am "inciting 'Racism ...So I have learned a bit through this "posterbating "process ....i may continue ,I may not

Fabios popularity died a long time ago . Naomi is still at the top of her game It may have but there is a commercial I keep seeing with the theme "life comes at you fast".....a shot of a young woman and fabio is the gondolier in venice and the voice over sounds like a legit shampoo ad for Fabio Shampoo.....really begin to think that it's for real....until they go under this small bridge and everything goes into shadow.....when they come out she looks up expecting to see Fabio....and it's this old wrinkled guy......that's when you find out it's an insurance commercial....pretty good ad.....and Fabio still looks pretty good...not sure how old he is by now.....but still good.....
