I was told by a very conservative friend of mine, he believes; "Wrightles go to the right, wrinkles are in the middle, and wronkles go to the left."

I totally disagree...

How does one properly wronkle a sheet anyway??

Just ask the model in your avatar it sure looks like she has it figured out.

Yeah...This one works,
or maybe I just like dark and moody lighting.

Nope... It doesn't work.
While it does have some redeeming qualities,
(Lighting is not bad and the model looks good)
The square fold lines just kill it.

I think it's funny this thread started after TxPhotog's comment to a model critique today where he mistyped by mistake or on purpose, "wronkled"!  How funny the things that entertain...and on a side note, I think in some cases the wrinkling works, but the folded squares does not.

I agree. Some of these photos would be really nice if they didn't have the square lines. The wrinkled sheet look is fine if you're on a bed. When you're in bed or sitting on one they aren't completely perfect. If the photo is to capture a person in bed or on a bed it makes it more real and usually looks great. If it's a background it depends on what is going on with the model.

A wrinkled paint tarp.

I've had some folks say it takes away from the image but I think it adds texture and keeps with the messy paint theme well.  What do you think?

I think the model and the paint look great. Background is too busy and it distracts from the model. It could very easily be muted, darkened, contrast lowered, or blurred easily in photoshop. I think darker and blurred might look very good, and you would "pop" relative to the background.

Yeah, it would probably work better as a photo if I cropped it tight so there was no sheet visible and it was just a headshot, but I love the curves, can't bring myself to chop them off...

The difference between knowledge and wisdom is application.

I just made that up, right now. But you can quote me on it.

There's a picture of Jayne Jones in her port (I don't know the number.. Hunt a little.. She posts a lot).. Lying on a blanket in the grass..  It's wronkled.. It's so damned pretty I almost wish there was no grass at all..

Sometimes wronkles are beautiful..

Just posted a new photo of me in wronkled sheets: 18+ https://img4.modelmayhem.com/060613/09/ … 978c52.jpg

And realized that the last picture on the first row of my photos called stretch is on some majorly wronkled muslin. I think they both work pretty well.
