It doesn't work. Jun 06 06 09:33 pm Link I think it's funny this thread started after TxPhotog's comment to a model critique today where he mistyped by mistake or on purpose, "wronkled"! How funny the things that entertain...and on a side note, I think in some cases the wrinkling works, but the folded squares does not. ![]() Jun 06 06 09:38 pm Link wronkles are what GWC's call wrinkles. ![]() jk - Grant Jun 06 06 09:54 pm Link My collection of wrinkled sheet photos: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Jun 06 06 09:59 pm Link Chris Macan wrote: I agree. Some of these photos would be really nice if they didn't have the square lines. The wrinkled sheet look is fine if you're on a bed. When you're in bed or sitting on one they aren't completely perfect. If the photo is to capture a person in bed or on a bed it makes it more real and usually looks great. If it's a background it depends on what is going on with the model. Jun 06 06 10:15 pm Link Cristal Steverson wrote: I think the model and the paint look great. Background is too busy and it distracts from the model. It could very easily be muted, darkened, contrast lowered, or blurred easily in photoshop. I think darker and blurred might look very good, and you would "pop" relative to the background. Jun 07 06 03:14 am Link My contribution: ![]() Yeah, it would probably work better as a photo if I cropped it tight so there was no sheet visible and it was just a headshot, but I love the curves, can't bring myself to chop them off... I think they both work pretty well. Jun 13 06 01:28 pm Link okay, so i want to take some wronkled sheet shots now too! who's in south FL and has some wronkled sheets for me? haha!
