Xeena if you go to some of the other portfolio sites you may run into a situation where next to a model who does adult and erotic nudes (with a picture that pretty well screams that)  there pops up one of a grinning little boy or girl. The search engine of some of these sites either fail or they are not designed properly. Perhaps you can persuade the young man who runs this site to come out with a

because there wasn't a minimum age when the site got started...they are being deleted ..theres lots of profiles..
and only volunteers..

the decision was made to keep the site for adults, OMp turned into a teen chat room...the hope is to avoid that..

Just for the record, I don't think it's fair.  But why did you go and add this.... but I do all my daughters photography for her modeling projects.  What's the point in signing her up if you're not going to let her get professional pictures?

The reason was explained to another mother on a different post with the same question by MM Moderator, Theda.

Anyone under the age of 15 that was here "before" the new rule was passed is protected by a grandfather clause and are being allowed to stay. Anyone joining afterwards must be at least 15 years of age to sign on with MM.

That is why you still see models on here under the age of 15.

Well, there are 14 yr-olds and then there are 14-yr-olds.  Here's a pic of Jamie, who I shot a couple of weeks ago.

I have a 15-yr-old coming next Thurs.

I once did thr senior portraits of a 17 year old,

and her five year old daughter,

that means at 11 she looked 18 too,

I think tyler doesn't want responsibility for any underage hanky panky

I don't think that was my intention to say that she couldn't have a professional photographer. I have been doing my daughters shoots because we have been stood up by a couple of photographers!! BTW, I don't need the sarcastic attitude of asking the owner of this site to make a toddler Mayhem. I don't think that an eleven year old is a toddler!! I didn't know that there was a minimum age requirement and I wasn't noticed about it either.
My daughter is signed up at other modeling sites and let me inform you this...I take care of her portfolio and take care of all the e-mails that comes to her!!
I do understand that there are worries about nude and such with the underaged children. I have read all your replies and thank you for informing me about the age requirements!!

Truth does not a sarcastic attitude make.  Xeena,  I know you well in writing.

But this is not a site for the young,  plain and simple.  NO one site can be everything to everyone.  OMP fits that bill very well right now but in a strange way.  The idea of  a youth site is not a bad one but a very great idea.   Yes,  many models are young and start early,  but this is just not the site for them.  The conversations are adult and I like it that way.

This may be a site for you but not for your daughter.  Plain truth.  Take it or leave it.

To moderate and control for both groups is illogical.  As stated some sites have pics of porn stars right next to shot of 2 year olds.

As someone told you on  a different site,  you daughter is NOT a model.  Do NOT rush it.  She is a potential model in the future.

You are kidding yourself if you think otherwise.

That is the truth.

Xeena  remember at your daughters age it has not to do with her looks but her age,  the amount of work for that age and where you live.

Your photography and her pictures have progressed tremendously since I have begun to communicate with you.

She is a beautiful girl who is mature for her age but do not push her too far.,  too fast.   Let her be a 11 year old.  Most models are more likely to be  a commercial model rather than a fashion model.

It pays better anyway.  And less stressful.  I could go on.

Frankly,  I think it is you tonight that needs to take a step back and take a reality check.

I am saying it strong because you will listen to me.   I speak the truth.

YOU owe some people here an apoligy in my opinion.

It is S'up to you.

From Sir S'uptoyou.

Now you are acting with less maturity than your daughter.  As Mowrie Wane would say to me.  Nighty, night Marky  time to come back tomorrow when you are not so angry or can make sense.

Your daughter is a beautiful girl and you disrespect her by speaking that way.

You make me sad tonight.

Excuse me Mark, but who was the one who brought up the message about Shauni not being a model??? I'm just saying that if people keep on telling me and her this, what is the point of even signing her up. I mean, I have to put her under something right?? And I was just wondering where I said she was a model!! Yes, I'm not reasonable tonight because I wrote a message about why Shauni was banned and I get sarcastic messages back!! NOt to mention that I have to apologize??? That really makes no sense to me!! And yes, I do listen to you and I heard clearly what you and the other people said. I was explained that the deal was and some people just kept on being sarcastic. I just wanted an explanation, that is all!

But you made him sad.

You do not have to put her as anything, by the way.

But if you sign up don't you usually have to pick a category or group so they know what you are looking for???

who's they?

i am getting paranoid here.

Wait a sec..... Got sarcastic messages back? I don't particularly like being in that category since I had explained to you quite properly and without a hint of sarcasm the correct reason of why your daughter's profile was deleted.
